Clothing disaster

It had been a while since Belle and Mr Gold got back together and Emma was sitting in her room with Belle. They were talking about Emma's date with Killian, it was their 1 year anniversary. Belle was on Emma's bed while Emma was on her vanity chair. Her hair was up in a neat bun, but she had no idea what she was going to wear. She was currently wearing her white, silk dressing gown and had dresses scattered all over the floor.

That's when Lily walked in, she had a broad smile on her face and coughed, interrupting Emma and Belle's conversation about colors. "Yes, how may I help you little dragon?" Emma joked, pretending to not know why she was there.

"I came to help with your... dilemma." She said, sweetly, pointing to all the dresses. She walked over to Emma's closet and started sifting through it.

"Sometimes I forget that girl is 6." Belle whispered to Emma.

Lily picked out a few dresses and lay them out on the bed. Emma could think of reason why she shouldn't wear each one.

"I'm saving that for Christmas."

"Too casual for an anniversary."

"I wore that to our first ever date so..."

"Nope I'm going to wear that to Charlotte's christening next March."

"Too revealing, dad would never let me wear that one. Especially not out with Killian."

"Now that one I can find no faults." Lily and Belle began beaming and left the room, letting Emma get changed in private. Once she was dressed they came back in and while Lily sat on the floor looking through Emma's jewellery, Belle was doing her make-up. 

After about half an hour she was ready. She picked up her matching clutch and walked downstairs. David was cooking and turned around when she heard her shoes clipping down. His mouth opened in shock and then he smiled.

"You look gorgeous Emma." After they found out that Emma was their real daughter David and Mary-M decided to continue calling her Emma. They even changed it on her birth certificate. There was a knock at the door and Lily ran to open it, sadly David had to do it because she couldn't reach the handle. As the door swung open she walked away pouting and Emma picked her up.

"Hey what's up lil dragon?" Killian said coming in. He stopped when he saw Emma and just stared. "You look," He was speechless.

"I know." She teased. "It's all thanks to this one." She sad, bouncing Lily on her hip. Killian smirked and turned to David.

"I'm so glad you have given me permission to take your daughter out on this cold November evening." He said, smiling. David gave him death eyes but lightened up when Belle began to laugh. To be honest everyone had forgotten she was there. Emma turned around to look at her and handed Lily to her.

"We better be going." Emma said. Killian nodded and extended his hand. She took it and placed a kiss on David's cheek before leaving. Shortly after Belle handed Lily to her father and left as well.
