You don't ever wanna leave and as I stand alone..in the middle of the chaos and destruction I promise you are with me. "You promised me.." You said as you watched him get handcuffed.

"I'm so sorry." He said looking at you in a way you never seen.

 How can I say this without breaking

"No, that's not good enough!" You yelled trying to reach out to him only to be pulled away fiercely by a cop who didn't have time for you and your sad goodbye's.

Your world was ending, you just knew it was. Because nothing made sense anymore, the room was too cold, the voices were too serious, and you were not smiling like you usually were.

Everything was dark and everyone seemed to be in a state of shock.

"Miss..this is a great honor, why are you so upset?" A man said trying to ease your worries.

"Honor?" You breathed.

No this couldn't be an honor..this was a nightmare..this was..

"Hey it's going to be okay.." He said trying to assure you as the police started to drag him out the door.

"NO, NO IT'S NOT!" You cried trying once again to run towards him.

"He might as well.." You said absolutely broken.

"Look, we need all the soldiers we can get honey, this war is the biggest war we've ever been apart of and people must be drafted Ms..your lucky it wasn't you instead." The officer explained.

You knew all of this, you watched the news..you understood what was going on. And you couldn't except that America was now in the middle of the greatest war they've ever seen..Militia and terrorist have invaded the country and our leaders taken hostage. This country had been over run and the military were the only ones left in charge.

But as time went by more and more Military soldiers had been converted to work with the terrorist and it was almost as if we were leading and losing battle.

But the Army never gave up hope and the more men they could draft the better.
