After my confrontation with Roman I was allowed to walk around what was now my new home, so obviously first thing first was finding the library which luckily was only 2 rooms away from mine and all outer rooms had balcony so if worst came to worst and I was locked up again I could always jump from each balcony to get to it.
They had so many more books here than they did at home, it was incredible... books on astrology, fantasy, philosophy, romance, science, art and history one in particular that got my attention it was mainly written in Drakos native language Dhastric and I was slowly learning to interrupt it, the title

His eyes squint as he begins to say something he get distracted by the book o my lap I see his eyes flash with fury as he stomps towards me reefing the book from my lap and grasping my chin in a painful hold.
"WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS? WHY WERE YOU TOUCHING IT! NO ONE TOUCHES THIS BOOKS UNLESS THEY ARE CHOSEN!" he screamed at me
Trying to escape from his hold my chin was beginning to hurt
"Let go of me you psycho!! I found it where you find all of the books WHERE IM SITTING! IN THE LIBRARY!!! If you didn't want anyone touching it you should have put in somewhere else!"

I CANT READ MINDS YOU KNOW!! YOU KEEP ACTING LIKE I KNOW THESE RULES! NEWS FLASH I WAS TRADED TO YOU, I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT IM SUPPOSED TO DO HERE! IF THERE ARE THINGS THAT IM NOT SUPPOSED TO TOUCH OR DO THAN TELL ME. HOW ABOUT ACTUALLY TALKING TO ME LIKE A PERSON! YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T WANT ME HERE SO LET ME GO AND YOU'LL AND ME GO NEVER HEAR FROM OR SEE ME AGAIN!" I went silent for a moment but he never spoke

I felt defeated by the end of our screaming match.... Mostly from me I couldn't lift my face I wouldn't let him see me cry, but before I could stop it a single tear fell. I refused to wipe it I wouldn't let him win.

It all just hit me at once, i.had.been.traded that was the reality of it to a guy I didn't know all so my brother could have warriors for a war that he will start and will tear my kingdom apart.

I'm not sure if it was to himself or me but I heard it just the same I closed my eyes and rested my forehead against his for a moment I felt safe, but he was gone just a quick a he had kissed me
"Keeli needs you in the kitchen, go find her, stay out of trouble and follow the rules" he threw over his shoulder as he walked out
"Yeah still don't know what those are buddy, do you have a pamphlet or something I could have?!
