Chapter 2 ~ Welcome to Magnolia

3 hours later...

     [y/n] POV

  " [y/n]....[Y/N]!" I woke up to the sound of my name being yelled from my brother.I opened my [e/c] orbs to see my annoying brother. "What do you want ?" I said with a annoyed tone. " we're here so get up  won't you." He said with sass. I pouted and grabbed my backpack , got off the plane and went towards the carousel (any Melanie Martinez fans out there ;) ) to collect our luggage. I tied my [h/c] hair in a pony tail {unless you have short hair say that you messed up your hair } and grabbed my luggage.

    20 minutes later...

    Everyone had their luggage and we made our way to get a taxi. I zipped up my sweater to block myself from the autumn cold but one step outside nothing but warm heat greeted my family and I. My dad called for a taxi and once it got here, we went inside the car. I took out my phone and played ( favorite app game ) for the rest of the car ride.

     Once we reached our new house i was pretty shocked . It was bigger then the old one and the neighbors seems so much nicer. Once we went to the steps to enter the house there was a plate of cookies from one of our neighbors. I grabbed the piece of paper attached to the plate, it read," From the Heartfillia's." I said out loud." Oh isn't that nice! Maybe they have a daughter your age!" Mom replied to me. I grabbed the plate and entered the house with my luggage.

     I went inside and saw all the rooms painted and furnished. " How does it look kiddo ?! Your Mother and I spent time working on the house every time we came to Magnolia for our business trips." Dad told me I nodded and said," It looks good, I'm going to bed now though good night!" My father nodded his head and I made my way up stairs and entered my room. The room had [f/c] walls and a white bed with [2nd favorite color] bedsheets. I smiled at the room and changed my clothes to my pajamas .

              1 hour before [y/n] arrived
                         Lucy's POV

       I was in my kitchen looking though my pantry for ingredients for the cookies I'll be making for the new neighbors. My dad told me when he ran into them. He greeted himself and they said they had a daughter my age ! I was so happy ,so I decided to make a welcome to Magnolia cookies!
    Once I had the ingredients, I washed my hands and got started.

     30 minutes later
   I placed the cookies in the oven and set the timer . I washed my covered in flour hands and decided to play some music. 'Oh I love this one !' I clicked on the song and decided to sing along.

Lucy : I can't hear a single word

Ding ! The cookies were done . I grabbed the pan and let it cool. Once they were nice and cool I placed the cookies on a plate and put a cover over it . I stepped outside and placed the cookies on the steps of the stairs. Then ran back home.
