Aphmau laid on her left shoulder a blanket over her, as she tried to fall asleep. It had become harder to go to sleep since discovering the fate that had befallen her once-lover's body. Burying an empty casket was hard enough, but finding out that the reason that they couldn't have buried him was because he was being used by Shad. It was sickening and She wanted nothing more than to kill Shad and finally let Aaron rest.
There was a gentle tap on the door, causing Aphmau to sit up and look at the door, as it opened and Alina peeked in slowly.
"Alina? What's wrong?"
Alina sniffled, and rubbed her eyes, making Aphmau frown as she began to cry, and ran to Aphmau, jumping up on the bed and hugging her tightly. "I have a bads dream!" Alina sobbed loudly, hugging her. "Dere was a bad man, and he tried to takes me away fwum you!"
Aphmau frowned, pulling Alina into a hug as she pulled her daughter against her chest. "Alina. I promise, nobody is ever going to hurt you, okay?"
"Really?"
"Really, now, pick your head up, Princess." Aphmau said, wiping the tears off of Alina's cheeks, "Your Tiara is falling."
