"guys i think , its time, i should talk to dad about our decision" manik said and all others nodded.

"ok then keep yourself free tomorrow. I will arrange a meeting with the board of directors ok??" he queried.

"but why are we needed, manik?" alya asked.

"are you busy somewhere, tomorrow, alya??" manik asked.

"no i am not" she answered.

"then come along...what's the problem??" manik said.

"uhhh...no arguing with the manik malhotra!" alya stated dramatically.

"its just manik!" manik said and hit her head playfully.

Mukti and alya both hugged manik together "you are the best!"

"tell him something new" Dhruv spoke chuckling and they laughed with him.

"ok guys i reached malhotra heights. Driver will drop you guys wherever you like. Ok??" manik asked.

"yeah ok...bbye" they wished him and drove away.

5 P.M.

"maa...i am sorry!! Jyada late toh ni hui mai??" nandini asked frantically as soon as she entered through the door of manilla.

"relax beta. You are not late. Abhi time hai. Aaj fast mein ho tum, iss tarah se daurna bhagna band karo. Weak ho jaogi." Neyonika replied patting nandini's cheek.

"okay...upar jao..apne ghar mein thori der rest karo. Fir ready ho kar come down .ok??"

"ok maa. Aapko koi help ni chahye?"

"ni beta once you get ready, come down toh fir thaaal decorate karenge milkar hum dono. Bas wahi kaam bacha hai, baki saare arrangements ho gye hain. Aur haa...! suno...maine jo subah mein dress aur jewellery diya h sargi mein...wahi pehenna aur ekdum dulhan ki tarah sajna. Theek hai?"

"jee" nandini said as her cheeks turned into darker shade of red. Neyonika kissed her forehead and then nandini went to her home.

"mom!!" manik called entering the house.

"haa beta..arahi hun" neyonika answered from her room and came hurriedly to the living room.

"mom...don't run...aap thak jaengi" manik said and then made her sit on the sofa with him.

"mujhe laga tum direct upar jaoge. Nandini wahi hain." Neyonika said in a matter of fact tone.

"mom...! aap janti hain ki main hamesa sabse pehle yaha ata hun tab hi upar jata hun...fir aap asa q bol rahi hain??" manik said keeping his head in her lap and lying on his back.

"ab tumhri shadi ho gyi hai...sab kehte hain shadi k baad beta badal jata hai" neyo said in a teasing manner.

"apka beta kabhi ni badlega" manik stated.

"acha" neyo teased further and manik made a grumpy face. "ok...ok...maine maan liya mera beta best hai...chalo ab gussa mat ho...coffee laun tumhre liye??"
