~later in the day~
I walk out of Star Magazine building
I head over to the nearby Starbucks
"Good evening Ms. Jones" Susanna says
My favorite barista
"Hi..hows everything?" I ask
Me & her are very friendly & chat all the time
"Remember Mario my boyfriend?" She asks
I nod
"I'm pregnant." She says tearing up
I hug her tightly
"Omg your gonna be a great mom!"
"You think?" She asks
"Yes. Does Mario know?"
"Yes he wants it & he's excited" she says & I wipe her tear
"I'm so happy for you Anna" I say
"Thanks..anyway..you want The usual right?" She asks
I nod & she makes my drink
I reach into my wallet & give her the money for the drink
Along with tips
"Here.." I say handing her it
"OMG I can't-"
"Please..for the baby..." I say & rub her stomach
She nods & I walk out after paying..
~10pm~
A boring Monday night for me
Nate hasn't called me or texted me
Which isn't him..
At all.
I slump down looking at my phone
I sigh looking at myself in the mirror
My long sleeved grey shirt & grey sweats
My hair tied up in a slick ponytail
My eyes baggy from a tiring day at the office
I turn on my tv & I walk out of my room
I walk down the hallway
I walk into my kitchen
I prepare snacks
My phone which is snugged in my sweat pocket
Buzzes uncontrollably
I look at my phone & unlock it
I seem to gotten many texts from Cameron
"Can I come over?" Was the last one I saw
I smirk & text
"Come right over."
I put the popcorn in the microwave to start popping
I grab Doritos & a few others of my favorite chips & my favorite guacamole dip
I set it all up in my room on a table
I hear a knock on the door
I rush to the door
I open it slightly to see Cameron smiling
I giggle & open the door
"Hey cam" I say smiling
He walks in
"You seem comfy" he says eyeing my chose of clothes
I roll my eyes playfully & I walk to my room
with him right behind me
I throw myself on my bed
"Hey..Ziah..did you always like writing?" He asks me looking at my old awards from school
For writing of course.
I nod
"Yes. It's my passion & I love it." I say
"Okay then..write something about me." He says smirking & poses in front of me
He lays on the bed in a pose
I can't help but laugh a little
In the mix of giggling he gets closer
"Okay..then..your very nice.."
"A huh..continue.." He says
"Sweet,caring.."
"Okay.."
"Passionate..smart...really handsome" I blurt out the last part
He smirks & looks at me
"You think so?" He asks
I blush & hide my face
"Aww..don't act shy.." He says & motions me over
I crawl over to him
He holds me in his tan strong built arms
"Let's watch a movie" he exclaims
I nod & turn on Netflix
He keeps staring at me
"Do I have something on me?" I ask
He shakes his head & turns my face with his hand
"Ziah..your so beautiful.." He says
I blush
He cups my face & leans in
As we're about to kiss..
I hear the doorbell ring
I get up & I open the door
To reveal Nate
"Hey..can we talk?" He asks
"Um..it's not a-"
"Who's at the door?" Cameron asks loudly
I can see the hurt on Nate's face
"Nate..it's not-"
"I SEE YOU MOVED ON SO FAST." He says mad
"Nate..we weren't a couple..plus me & Cameron are just hanging out..."
"Bullshit."
"Nate you don't own me." I say mad
"I want you to be mine." He says grabbing my hand
"Don't you wanna be with me?"
"Of course I do damnit! I think your the most amazing man I've ever met.." I say
"Then be with me!" He says grabbing me by the waist
"I-"
"Nate?" I hear from behind me
I turn around to see Cameron with a confused look
"I'm letting him leave now Cameron.."
"No..I'll go.." He says
He grabs his stuff & leaves
I look at Nate mad
"What did I do?" He asks
"Couldn't you wait until tomorrow to talk? I have to interview you again" I say rolling my eyes
He grabs me & cups my face
"No..I want you.." He says in barely a whisper
He kisses me softly & I kiss him back
"I can't..not right now..my little sister is moving in with me in a couple of days.." I say
"That has nothing to do with us" he says
"Let me think about it.." I say
He shakes his head
"Please?" I say pouting
He nods & pecks my lips
"No more kissing..we're friends until I'm done thinking about it." I say
He nods & I walk to my room
He is right behind me
"You can go now"
"No I wanna watch that movie with you" he says
He throws himself on my bed
I sit next to him
As we're watching the movie..
I lay my head on his shoulder & he puts his hand on my thigh..
Oh god..this is gonna be hard..
