Here is what I wrote:
Her love was the vast universe, practically never ending
But his love was a flower, one moment alive and lovely, the next wilted and decaying
Her hate was a river, running deep and racing fast
But his hate, was like a trickle of water from the roof, slow and steady, seemingly to never stop.
