Walking out of the bathroom Tia came face to face with Carter .. Walking past him she made her way to her louis bag, filling it with everything she would need. She felt Carter's eyes on her ..
"What are you looking at ?" She asked not even turning around
"Make sure you have Domino drive you around, you need to keep somebody with you at all times !" He said
Turning around, Tia folded her arms across her chest "What you meant to say was, you want somebody following me, and watching where I go so they can report my location back to you at all times !!" Smirking, she picked up her bag "This is my town Carter, nobody is silly enough to touch me so don't worry !!" She replied glancing at Meagan who sat on the bed watching them ..
"Domino downstairs waiting !!" Carter said before disappearing into the shower, hearing the shower cut on Tia rolled her eyes ..
"Fuck Domino, let's go Meagan !!" Heading for the door, they took a different way out so that they didn't have to meet up with Domino ..
"So where we going ?" Meagan asked as she admired the skyscrapers
"To his penthouse .. " She replied glancing around the city, New York hadn't changed a bit .. She still had bitter sweet memories that reminded her of certain things she wanted to forget about .. As they walked Tia pointed out different landmarks to Meagan, since it was actually her first time in New York ..
Once at Gee's penthouse, Tia automatically felt the vibe change .. He had niggas lurking around the lobby trying to be incognito but they weren't fooling her .. Smiling at them, she recognized a few them !! Tia's heart was beating a million miles per minute, Gee was known to have that effect on her but this time she was nervous because she wanted so badly for the two most important men in her life to just bury the hatchet and end this brewing storm they were creating .. As the elevator doors opened, Tia was greeted by Gee .. Sitting in the living room across from her he looked her way and smiled !! Stepping off of the elevator she made her way towards him, but she stopped when she seen Baby Gee on the floor .. Covering her mouth, Tia watched him play on the floor in awe .. She hadn't seen him since he was just a baby !!
"Oh my goodness !!" She said as she walked over to him .. sitting on the floor in front of him she stared into his face as he looked back and forth between her and his dad ..
"You don't remember me do you ?" She asked, already knowing the answer she couldn't help but to caress his face ..
He was the spitting image of Gee now .. "So cute !!" She said giggling .. "You sure do know how to make a girl melt don't you !!" Standing up Tia glared at Gee
Smiling, "You know this !!" Gee replied
Laughing, Tia sat down in a chair still staring at Baby Gee ..
"Go play in your room Gee !!" He said to his son ..
Gathering his toys, he walked away into the other room .. and Gee's face instantly got serious .. Turning the TV on, Tia watched as a image appeared on the screen of her and Carter talking in the club .. Sighing, she knew it was time to tell him the truth ..
"Who is that ?" He asked
"You know who he is !!" Tia said, as she glared at him
"How do you know him ?" He asked ..
Sitting back into her chair, Tia rested her head in her palm .. "Carter, and I are together !!" She admitted ..
Frowning, Gee looked at Meagan "I thought you was, with her !!" He said pointing to her ..
Nodding, Tia confirmed "I am, but I'm with him too !!" She smiled
Shaking his head Gee stood up "Lucky man !!" He smirked and walked over to the glass window and looked out as he got his thoughts together .. "How much you know about me and him ?" He asked
"Only what he has told me .. that he came out here to buy a couple property's from you that you're no longer even trying to sell anymore !!" She said standing up and walking over to him ..
"They were never for sell, we talkin about my club Tia !!" He said ..
"Well, Rio fucked up .. can you blame Carter for being angry when he had millions of dollars worth of plans for those property's Gee .. now all of those plans are on hold !! Which means millions of dollars are on hold .. you know how you are about your money so why are you acting like you don't understand !!" She said grabbing his hands
"You expect me to sell my club ?" He asked looking at Tia as if she was crazy
Shaking her head she looked around in frustration "I don't know, but make it right .. understand where he is coming from .. after all your boy made the fuck up .. own up to it and fix it !!" Tia said
Changing the subject, "So you were in Cali with him ?" He asked
Nodding, Tia said yes ..
"You know who you dealin with Tia ?" He asked
Walking away Tia sighed, "Yes, Gee, I've been with him for almost 5 years now !!" She said
"If we can't compromise, you willing to be caught up in another war ?" He asked
Staring at him, Tia didn't answer ..
"Who side you on ?" He asked ..
"Neither one of you dumb asses side !!" She said sitting down
Gee couldn't help but to laugh .. "Let me talk to you in the back for a minute !!" Nodding his head towards the bedroom Tia smirked ..
"Whatever you have to say to me, You can say in front of her !!" She said as Meagan laughed at the two of them ..
Walking over to her, Gee pulled her up from the couch and picked her up as Tia struggled to get out of his arms .. "Put me down Gee !!" Trying to wiggle her way out of his arms, his grip was too tight and she gave up ..
Closing the bedroom door, Gee walked her to the bed tossing her down .. Tia quickly sat up, to be met face to face with him .. Kissing her, Tia moaned in his mouth as she kissed him back .. Slowly coming back to her senses she pushed him back ..
"Your son is in the other room, you have a fiancé, and I have a man !!" She whispered as she pushed him off of her ..
"So what ?" He asked pushing her hand out the way ..
"No !!" Tia laughed as she stood up "I gotta go !!" She replied ..
"You can't go yet .. I got one more surprise for you .. !!" Gee said as a smile crossed his face ..
Folding her arms Tia smirked "What ?"
Right on time the doorbell went off, and Tia walked out of the bedroom .. but not before Gee stopped her "What ?" Looking down at his hand on her arm she looked back up at him
"He treat you good ? You alright with him ?" He asked sincerely
Smiling Tia nodded, "Yes, Gee .. he treats me perfectly !!" She replied
Letting go of her arm, Gee smiled as she walked on out ..
Walking to the door Gee opened it, as Tia sat down beside Meagan a girl walked into the room with a kid in her arms !! He looked about 4 or 5, and he looked like someone she knew but she didn't know who ..
"Who's this ?" Tia asked
"Tia this is Ronda, and Ronda this is Tia .." Waving the girl smiled at Tia as her eyes became watery ..
Waving back Tia smirked "Who is she ?" She asked
"This is her son, DJ, aka Dontay Jr." Gee said .. "Tia this your nephew, this is Tay's son !!"
