Rachel's pov

Me and Jason have been happily married for a few years but today I'm going to tell him. He was writing downstairs in his at home studio when I walked down. "Hey Jason, can we talk about something important?" I ask nervously. "Sure darlin', what's up?" I sit on the couch, trying to think of how to start this conversation. He comes and sits beside me. "Rach, you okay?" "Yeah... I... I just think... We should try to have a baby!" "Whoa! Really?" "Yeah. I think we're ready." He smiles. "Me too. I can't wait!"

*several months later*

The doctor says I'm infertile. "There's always other ways." Jason tries to console me. I wipe my eyes. "Yeah. You're right. What should we do, Jason?" He hugs me. "Adoption."

Jason's pov

I can't believe she's infertile. She will be a mom no matter what. I don't know how long it'll take but we'll figure this out. Mike and I were working on setting up a new tour. I told him what we were planning to do and for some reason I'm super nervous about adoption. I don't know why. After we set everything up, I pick Rachel up and we head out of town for the tour. "First ya gotta decide do you want a little girl or a little boy." Rich says, pointing his beer can at me. "I want a girl." Rachel says, smiling. I smile too, seeing her happy again. "What about you, Jason?" She asks. "I'm fine with either, sweetheart." She's super excited for this. I get onstage for the soundcheck and there's a couple kids who won a contest. I do soundcheck for them. Then the girl keeping an eye on them lets them come over to the stage. I thought there was supposed to be four kids. I shrug it off and smile. It's good to see kids and all the more exciting knowing soon we'll have one. I can't wait. And I know Rachel can't either.
