Wow! 500+ reads, that's amazing. Thankyou guys so much! I know this is short but I haven't updated in a while and thought I should get something up.

Imagine: Waking up in the middle of the night and finding The Doctor telling your child about you.

Key:
(Y/D/N) = your daughter's name
(E/C) = eye colour (Color for all you Americans)

Your eyes fluttered open as you reached out to your husband, but when it reached the normally filled spot, it was empty. You sat up and rubbed your tired eyes, your hair was a mess on the top of your head and your white nightgown was creased. The Doctor wasn't in your room.

You pulled the covers off yourself and swung your legs over the side of the bed. The Tardis floor was cold on your bare feet as you tip-toed out of the room and down the hall. You quickly walked down to your daughter's room, whose door was slightly ajar.

You peaked into the room. The Doctor was holding (Y/D/N) and rocking back and forth but before you pushed the door open to let yourself in, you heard The Doctors voice speaking softly to (Y/D/N).

"I remember the first time I saw her. I walked into her on the street, literally walked into her, she spilt her coffee all over me. And then I noticed her eyes, that brilliant (e/c), just shining back at me and it was like I lost track of time. The world just stopped spinning for a moment. And I knew, oh I knew that she was special."

"I knew that she would change my life forever. And she has, your mum. Changed my life completely, in ways that I couldn't even begin to imagine before I met her. I love her so much."

The Doctor rocked (Y/D/N) back and forth until she fell asleep in his arms. He then walked over to her cot, laid her down gently and pulled the blanket up around her shoulders. Then, you leaned against the door way with your arms folded.

"My eyes are a brilliant (e/c), huh?" You asked, raising an eyebrow. The Doctor face immediately became red as he looked away.

Rubbing a hand through his hair he said, "You heard that?"

You walked over to him, you bare feet sticking to the Tardis floor with every step and wrapped your arms around his shoulders. You looked into his warm brown eyes, "you know," you stated "your eyes aren't half bad either."

The Doctor smiled and brought his lips to yours. Your mouths moved in perfect sync with one another after years of being together. The kiss was like walking out into a spring morning, hearing the birds chirp as the sun shone through the trees and onto the dew that stuck to the fresh green grass. Everything you loved.

After you pulled away, you glanced over to the sleeping girl in the cot. Her hair was the same shade of brown that The Doctors was but her eyes were a different story. Whenever you looked at them, you saw the same eyes that you saw everyday in the mirror. She got the perfect amount from each parent.

"How did I get so lucky?"
