You were still in algebra and you were bored out of your mind. You were really good at algebra, you find it super easy and you were the second smartest at it in the class, second only to another girl that you never really knew or talked to. The problem with being really good at something meant that when you had finished all the work or you were told to look over the basics it bored the crap out of you.

You looked out of the window mindlessly, not noticing the literature classroom really close to your algebra class. As you were daydreaming your mind suddenly wandered to the fedora clad vampire, Laito. You started to think about his piercing green eyes that could always capture your attention, the way his hair fell over his face just right, the way his fedora framed his face. How whenever he flirted with you he would always know just what to say to make you laugh or smile, you had even noticed that since you two started hanging out that he had been avoiding all the other girls in school, he wouldn't even give them the time of day.

Before you knew what was happening all you could think about was Laito, no matter what you did you couldn't get his face out of your head you suddenly came to a realization that you never thought would ever happen to you. You had actually fallen for a guy, you always thought that the guys would pointlessly fall for you but you could never return their feelings but for once you actually felt what they were all feeling for you and it felt......nice.

But at the same time you felt a tug on your heart, part of you was saying 'wait a second he is a vampire you will die he's immortal you can't spend eternity together and that will really hurt him more than anything. Plus there's the fact that why would he fall for you, its not like you are the only pretty girl in this school and being popular doesn't make a difference, forget about him'

You pushed the negative thoughts out of your head, you actually liked someone and you were not going to give up on that, It was then that you came back to reality, something had caught your eye you looked into the window of the literature classroom opposite your algebra class and saw none other than Laito himself waving to you.

You broke into a smile and indiscreetly waved back to him, he looked down and wrote something before pressing his notebook to the window you read it and it said,

'meet me in the hall after this period, then lets go for a walk like usual!'

You quickly looked to your teacher and classmates, luckily you sat in the back corner of the class. You wrote down a 'your on!' in your notebook and held it to the window, the windows were both open and you could here his teacher talking but its not like you could just speak to him in the middle of class, although he would hear you.

''(Y/N)!'' your teacher shouted making you jump, you quickly stood up and faced the front not knowing that Laito was watching you and heard every word that was said,

''hai sensei!'' you said clearly, she looked to you a little more softly,

''can you solve this equation please, *3 x 4 squared + (12 - 14 squared) +10 x 2x*'' you took a glance out the window and saw Laito with a confused look on his face a look that said.....'da fuq does that mean' you smiled confidently and looked to your teacher again,

''Hai sensei!'' you said loudly, this was a breeze

''3 x 4 squared + (12 - 14 squared) +10 x 2x 

= (-2 squared) + 12 squared + 20x

= (0) + 24 + 20x = 24 + 20x, leaving your final answer as,                      

 = 44x''

The teacher smiled to you again and nodded signaling for you to sit back down which you did,

''very well done as always you got the answer right first time and without any hesitation. You get an A+'' you smiled as the bell went signaling end of the period you quickly packed everything up and hurried down to the hall where you saw Laito looking at you impressed,

''hey Laito...uh what's up'' you said he just smiled at you in amazement as you guys started your walk,

''nothing its just... I never knew you were that good at algebra, its the one subject that I can never get the hang of think you can teach me sometime?'' he said winking to you, you found yourself blushing slightly but before you even had the chance to answer him 3 boys from the football team came over to you crowding you.

''Hey (y/nnnnn), not seen you in forevaaaa'' the first guy said,

''yeah why don't you come watch us practice'' the second one said

You saw Laito about to jump in and tell them to back off when the third guy threw an arm over your shoulder and pulled you to him whispering into your ear,

''why don't you come to my place tonight and we can have some fun'' that was the last straw no more miss nice girl, you pushed the guy away and glared daggers at all three of them with your fists balled up, you were visibly shaking but you knew exactly how to deal with guys like this, and conveniently enough the cheerleaders had started to practice on came the music and you started to sing;

Laito's POV:

I was about to step in and get the guys away from (y/n) but before I knew what was going on she had started to sing, whilst glaring at the football boys she looked so angry, normally when another guy flirts with her or asks her out she kindly rejects them and walks away but these guys must have really pissed her off......I know they pissed me off.

I want to be the only one to flirt with her, I want to be the one to ask her out, I want to be the one to hold her in my arms, kiss her, bite her and make her mine for all eternity I didn't want to loose someone as smart, beautiful and funny as (y/n) to some lowlife human who would only hurt her!

I shocked myself with my own thoughts and felt myself relax I must have tensed myself up pretty bad, but why? I had never gotten this worked up about anyone before..... I thought for a minuet then I realized what was going on and I smiled, I tipped my hat a little hiding my face as I started to blush slightly,

I had fallen for (y/n) and fallen hard, I just hope she likes me as much as I like her then I will be the happiest vampire in existence.
