Down in The Forest (Forest Fic Part Two)

A young boy pointed up to the tree and showed mother, she looked confused and didn't know what it was, unfortunately for her she was wearing black.

"Watch out!" Josh screamed, Brendon pulled him back

"What the fuck do you think you were doing?" Brendon asked

"Trying to save the mother!" Josh whispered back

"Josh I'm sorry but she is probably going to get shot, we can't change it."

Josh turned around to see the boy crying onto his mothers bloody body.

"Shit we have to go help the boy!" Tyler insisted

"We can't! It's too big of a risk!" Pete said

"I'm going!" Josh said

"Me too!" Tyler replied back

"Don't you f-" but Pete was cut off. Tyler grabbed an extra hoodie and ram with Josh.

Tyler and Josh climbed a tree and made a chirping noise. The young boy looked up, he looked about 11-12 years old, he had chestnut brown hair and mocha eyes, similar to Josh. It reminded Tyler of younger Josh.

"Pssst kid!" Josh whispered

"My mom told me not to talk to strang-"

"We aren't bad people I promise! We know who shot your mother, come with us, but stay quiet!" Tyler and Josh slowly claimed down the tree and carried the boy, until they reached the hiding spot.

"You are okay with us, we'll keep you safe." Pete said to the young boy, the young boy nodded.

"Whatever you do don't leave our side, here put on this."Tyler said, he handed the young boy the hoodie.

"Why do I need this" the young boy asked

"It's difficult to explain, but you need it to get to safety." Tyler said

"What's going on?" The young boy asked he had curiosity written all over his face.

"A war, well rebellion. You are too young to understand but we will explain more later" Josh said.

Pete took out his radio.

"Black hoodies do you hear me?" Pete said to the radio

"Loud and clear." A girl said, it sounded like Jenna

"Okay we got a young kid about 11-12 who's mother was shot by the enemies" Pete said.

"Okay did you guys trap anyone yet?"

"Not yet I'm think I will leave Tyler and Josh here while me and Brendon go back to bring the child to safety" Pete said

"Why us?" Josh asked

"You already know why..." Jenna said from the radio then continued "Pete is going to give you a gun, you don't need to use it however if someone sees you and they aren't wearing the hoodies, shoot them. You don't have to shoot them so they can die however stop them." Jenna said

"What would we do with them?" Josh asked.

"Bring the person back to base after you bandaged them." Jenna said then got off.

"We are going to bring the boy back, here's the gun." Brendon said and with that they left.

"You ready?" Josh asked Tyler

"For what?"

"Violence"

"I don't know but, promise me you'll stay."

"Stay for what?"

"Forever."
