By Monday, Jay was feeling back to her old self, and went to school. She went to practice that day, but the coach told her to take it easy. This wasn't easy for Jay, as she was used to pushing herself as much as she could.

After school, she headed home and found her dads home. "Dad! Daddy!" she grinned, running to give them each a hug.

"Hey Jay!" they said, hugging her back.

Gwen and Lily came through the door a few minutes later, equally excited to see their fathers. Jay decided to start her homework, and almost as soon as she finished, her phone started blowing up with the group chat she had with Ben, Beverly, and Zach.

<Ben> Who wants to go to the park?

<Zach> What are you? Five?

<Ben> No, I just like the park. We can juggle

<Zach> Like, bowling pins?

<Ben> Oh yeah, I forgot you don't have a big enough brain to comprehend soccer

<Zach> Hey!

<Beverly> Ben shut up!

<Ben> Why should I? He's always making fun of soccer, so I made fun of his intelligence

<Jay> I leave you people for ten minutes and this is what happens

<Zach> Sure Jay, like you could do anything about it, just saying, I don't care if you're Beverly's best friend, if you cross me, I'll beat the shit out of you

<Ben> Oh hell no you will not, back me up here Bev

<Jay> I can take care of him myself, but thanks Ben

<Ben> Beverly are you not going to say something? Your sorry excuse for a boyfriend just threatened Jay

<Beverly> He's not a sorry excuse!

<Ben> Seriously? You aren't gonna say anything to defend Jay?

<Beverly> Why should I? He said if she ever crossed him, I have a feeling Jay is smart enough to not do that

<Ben> Still

<Zach> I'd beat you up to Benny Boy

<Ben> Don't call me that

<Jay> Wow thanks Beverly

<Ben> Note her sarcasm

<Jay> How do you know I'm being sarcastic?

<Ben> Because this is you, I've memorized your texting patterns, as well as Gwen and Lily's, by the way your youngest sister is an extremely sassy texter

<Jay> No shit Sherlock, she's an extremely sassy anything, although I am impressed that you've memorized our texting patterns

<Ben> It's how I know when one of them has your phone

<Zach> You guys are nerds

<Ben> That just means we're smart, that's not an insult

<Zach> Whatever

<Beverly> Ben, leave Zach alone!

<Ben> I'm done with this

Ben has left the conversation

Jay has left the conversation

Jay sighed and decided just to get on regular texting with Ben.
