Chapter 17

Today was the day Juice was meant to take it to the table, the whole truth and to him, a week after the clubhouse had been blown to smithereens he still was reluctant to walk in normally like he used to, he wasn’t crushed with guilt nor was he bothered about his like, truth was he didn’t know if confronting the table was the right thing to do, He knew he was even with Jax however Chibs was the real worry and all it took was a show of hands on a vote and he could be met with Mr Mayhem.
He’d created a plan in his head, two in fact that both led him in different directions, he could confront Chibs then talk to Jax about the suspension, tell him to tell the club he was having troubles or something or other and the other was to take it to the table and hope they respected his honesty.
He was shook out of his thoughts my Lizzy’s hand trailed down his spine with her nail and she gripped his side.
“Didn’t know you were awake” He murmured, the arm supporting his head pushed it up and turned him around so he was facing her, her eyes went straight to the tattoo of her name and her lips turned up at the edges, snuggling into him
“I wasn’t until now” She whispered, kissing his collarbone lightly, his marvelled at this and bent his head back, stifling a grunt and disguised it as a laugh.
“Are you okay?” She wondered, laying on her back and putting her arm crossed under her head whilst Juice’s large and warm hand rested on her abdomen.

“I’m fine, I feel normal...you know?” He smiled, propping his head up on his elbow, looking around the room
“Have we talked deal breakers?” She finally asked, turning to look at him causing a nervous laugh to escape from Juice’s throat
“Do we need to?” He retorted suspiciously, why was she asking?!
“I’ll go first
If you tried to kill me purposely
If you cheated on me
If you stole from me and or ruined my parlour
and if you pick someone else over me” She sat up, crossing her legs and awaiting his reply, he gave her a funny look and put his hand on her knee
“I’ve already took bullets for you” He laughed
“I would have to say
cheating
lying to me
picking someone else over me and if you tried to kill me, like most would” He said, she nodded and agreed.

Lizzy was looking for another conversation starter, peering around the room to find the time of 9:38am on her alarm clock and sighing at him
“I need to be at the parlour for 11, do you want breakfast?” She asked, She didn’t want him to leave because she’d be worried; he was going to the club today to sort this mess out but if he wanted to ensure his own safety and Lizzy’s then he needed to do this, She didn’t understand the severity of what he was about to do and that’s why she left it at that, getting out of the bed and walking to the kitchen with nothing but his shirt on.
“Yeah, sure” He replied, Getting up and getting in the shower as his girlfriend cooked him breakfast, giving him time to ponder what was going to happen day and with each passing minute he was becoming more and more confident about what was going to happen when he got to ‘Scoops’ the guy’s new setup.
When he emerged from the bathroom he got dressed into a white T-shirt and a pair of cargo trousers, slipping on his boots and entering the kitchen, Lizzy danced as she flipped whatever was in the pan
“Are you flipping bacon?” Juice laughed
“Don’t judge me, you don’t know me, you don’t know my story” She said, bobbing her head up and down using an exaggerated ‘ghetto’ accent as she would call it, nasally and extremely cocky before returning to making him something to eat.

She cooked for him with a smile like an old lady should, served him with a smile and sat down, opening her laptop as he continued his pointless conversation about rusty batteries and began to find a someone willing to buy her mother’s bungalow, a pressing matter that hadn’t been addressed since the funeral.
“I just throw them out, some people donate them...should be donate them?” He asked
“I don’t know, by the way...who’s is the blue bike in our garage?” She asked, staring intently at the computer screen
“Yeah, some assholes scammed us and stole my bike last night so we went and I redeemed myself” He grinned
“I like your old one, it was prettier” Lizzy added, smiling and stretching again
“So do I, I still need to take it to TM to add shit” He sighed, wiping his hand down his face whilst Lizzy still looked for potential buyers.

“Juice, how do you feel about getting a house, a proper one with both of our names on the leases” She asked, her hand against her mouth providing a muffled conversation starter
“Ugh, I don’t know...it seems pretty good but I think we should have this conversation another time, when I can give you my absolute and undivided attention” He smiled, pushing the plate away and standing up, stretching out the knots in his muscles before he kissed her forehead and grabbed his keys
“Are you leaving?” She asked, looking at the time of day confusedly
“I want to get this over and done with so it’s not exactly something I want to have waiting until everyone gets back, Bye” He shouted behind him as he straightened his cut out and  walking towards the door
“Love you” She grinned, biting her lip and awaiting his reaction
“Love you too” He chuckled, shutting the door behind him and riding to the clubhouse, making some arrangements on the way.
