i was left standing outside the house with a shocked expression in my face. what a rude dude. he just could have simply asked me to leave instead of closing the door on me like that.
nevertheless, i walked away from the neighbor's house eventually and headed back home, which was literally the next door. entering inside, my brother poked his head out from the kitchen and beaming a smile at me, he then asked,
"so? how'd it go?"
"bad," i replied instantly, my buttom lip stuck out into pout and shuffling into the living room, i plopped myself down the couch and crossed my arms,
"some rude guy said that she wasn't home and slammed the door on me,"
"what the...- hE DID WHAT?!" seokjin was now rushing out of the kitchen. with a scowl, he glared out the window and over at the neighbor's house,
"excuse me lil'sis, but someone needs to get my glittering foot shoved into their ass," and with that said, he stomped his way out the backyard door and was soon to be seen climbing over the green hedge.
i let out a sigh and lightly snickered of how silly and overprotective he was acting. just like old days, when some jackass kids were messing around with me and snow white. man, how i miss her so much.
however, in the meantime while waiting for my brother to return from kicking the neighbor's ass, i fished up my phone from the pant pocket and went into kakaotalk. hoping that the other two of my friends were still using the same id as two years ago, i added them in a group chat and started the conversation.

it only took a few seconds before my phone almost exploded with the repeatedly ringing of ka-talks.

jeon97kook left the conversation. porkjimin left the conversation. yeoreumk left the conversation.
a smile was spread across my face after seeing how they reacted. imagine how they will react when we each other again, when only in the chat was that surprising.
nonetheless, reading through the message again that jimin, jungkook and i just had, my attention soon switched to the backyard door that suddenly went ajar. putting away my phone and looking up, i find seokjin rubbing his hands against each other with a satisfying grin plastered on his face. entering inside again, he then wiggled his eyebrows at me.
"problem fixed. you can head over at the neighbor's again, if you want. the rude boy isn't gonna be rude no more,"
he was wearing a some sort of happy yet sinister expression and i couldn't help but to stare blankly at him for a second. then, blinking a few time when my eyes got dry, i asked,
"what exactly did you do over there?"
"nothing much," seokjin simply shrugged and was still smiling, "just had a talk. it was a terrible talk—especially for him—but everything will be juuust fine."
"o...kay, if you say so..." i awkwardly scratched the back of my neck, "then, i guess i'll head over again to see if that's true."
"yeah, yeah. you do that," replied seokjin with an okay sign, "stay there as late as you want to and don't come home early, okay?"
"uhh, but--"
"oKAY???"
"okay, okay! geez,"
and with that said, off i go to the neighbor's again with a wonder; why my brother was acting so overly strange.
