Pray For Gaza

The truth is born-
It speaks – tongueless.
As diamonds are made in rivers of blood.

The world is blind,
But we hope you see,
That we do not want to flood your facebook and twitter pages
To simply gain votes of sympathy.

No, we want to spread the truth
Of our sad forgotten reality.

One rocket thrown- ten thrown back,
Recipient- 11 month old baby.
Home and family bombed-
" We're So Sorry-
But here is a food parcel to aid your heart's recovery."

Can you NOT see?
That living with the threat of being killed is actually different to being killed?
Your threats are our reality!
A life is a life, whether you're a Muslim or Jew,
5 Israeli lives should not equal 162.

This is not self defence!
This is mass murder and a humanitarian issue.
These Political leaders will remain silent,
For we are forgotten pennies amongst gold towers.

Truth does not equal justice here,
But equals oppression and injustice.
What is rightfully ours is now theirs
And once theirs cannot be yours.

Homes are prisons,
Parks are graveyards,
Humans are shields.
Peace is not Peace-
But being blown up into pieces.

We humbly ask you,
But not for much-
For we know our own brothers and sisters have forsaken us,
To pray to the one that does not forsake-

So Pray,
Pray for Gaza
Pray for Peace
For Allah promises after Hardship-
Follows Ease.
