Wrong Number (Fem!Reader x Sasuke)

22 -Clumsy-

Her cheeks puff out a little when she begins to pout. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen. I just wanted to pinch her cheeks and cuddle her.

*Itachi told me you got a concussion and blacked out. I'm glad to see you're okay.

She pats my thigh and get chills. I close my eyes to compose myself, but when I open my eyes again, [Name] is walking out my door.

Quickly, I stand and say, "Can I walk you home? Please?"

She shakes her head and continues to leave me behind. I click my tongue, grab a jacket and to follow her. When I catch up, I grab her arm.

"I'm walking you home whether you like it or not. A young lady shouldn't be walking home alone at night."

She smiles as we walk out together, arms interlocked. I could hear my brother whistling from his bedroom window, yelling at me to "Get some".

I roll my eyes and ignore him while [Name] chokes down her laughter. Tugging her along, we walk down the dark sidewalk; the chilly air seemed to be getting to [Name]. She shivers slightly when the wind blows.

"Would you like my jacket?" I ask, taking my red jacket off. She shakes her head no but I've already wrapped it around her shoulders. "Can't have you catching a cold."

With a concerned look on her face, [Name] stops walking. *What about you? Won't you catch a cold?

"I'll be fine," I reassure her. "Plus, if I do get sick, you'll come over and take care of me, right?"

She smiles and nods. My heart flutters in my chest when I see her smile like that. That beautiful grin, shining brighter than any other star out in the midnight sky. We continue walking but me, still dazzled by her smile, forgets to look where I'm going and a low tree branch hits me square in the face.

"Aw fuck!" I cry out, stopping to hold my nose. [Name] doesn't even look back, she walks without me. I jog to catch up but she crosses the street before I can get to her. Without looking both ways, I cross, trying to get to her. Half way to the other side, my foot gets caught on a pothole causing my body flop to the ground.

"Damn it!" I curse once I stood back on my two feet. [Name] was waiting for me, her hand on her hip looking impatient as I stand awkwardly in the street. Quickly, I shuffle back to my love, dusting my hands on my jeans.

"Sorry," I apologize, scratching the back of my head. She sighs and begins to sign.

*Maybe you should hold my hand so you won't get lost, or left behind.

She holds her hand out to me and I hesitate. My palms felt really sweaty all of a sudden.

"Y-You want m-me t-to hold y-your hand?" I squeak out, stumbling over my words. She nods firmly, with her hand out for me to take. My breath hitched in my throat and my hands were shaking as I reached up to hold hers.

What the hell is wrong with me?! Come on Sasuke! Act cool and detached like always!

"Hn. Whatever," I grumble, though I could feel my cheeks get a lot warmer. I hope the darkness could hide the fact that I was blushing, but I could hear her sweet giggles and I nearly melt.

She squeezes my hand and I squeeze back as she walks with me.

"Well here you are," I grumble, reluctantly letting go of her hand. We stood at the front door of her home. She turns to me and grins.

*Thank you for bringing me home. You're such a gentleman.

That's when [Name] stood on her tip toes to kiss mcheek. She waves bye as I stumble my way back home, dazed by the kiss.

She kissed me! SHE KISSED ME!

I felt like skipping all the way home. I've never been this happy before.

"I wonder if she feels the same butterflies that I'm feeling."

I had to mentally slap myself and pull my emotions back into the little glass jar I call my heart.

"What has love done to me?"

The only answer I got was chill down my spine and my heart fluttering in my chest. I couldn't help but smile.

"She kissed me."
