When the final whistle was blown the whole school cheered and Lucas was tossed into the air by his team mates as people cheered the teams name and the team captain. everyone congratulate him for winning against the rival school.
While everyone started to leave Katie held back looking at the team captain and the football pitch.
As Katie looked up she noticed that Lucas was walking towards her and smiled.
''Hi did you enjoy the game?'' Lucas asked as he stood next to her smiling and looking at where she was looking.
''Yeah it was good you are a really good football player I wish I was good at football like you, I can't even kick a ball into the goal'' said Katie while laughing looking at the goal.
"Maybe I can teach you how to score a goal" says Lucas smiling and looking at her.
"Maybe one day you can teach me" she says smiling
"Yeah, you promise?" he says looking at her.
"Yeah I promise I got to go now my mom wanted me home after the football game" she says as she was about to leave
" Do you need a lift my car is over there and plus we can talk more haha" he says pointing to his car
"sure thank you" said Katie, walking with Lucas to his car and getting in.
