Chapter 31 - Hey CC...?

Legacy's POV

I woke up with a start two weeks later.

"Nightmare..." I breathed.

Nothing major...

I sat up and gasped.

"Fuck."

I slowly got out of bed, not taking my eyes off of my surprise.

I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

"It's true..." I breathed.

The bump in my stomach looked as though i was about 14 weeks gone.

"Babe?" Came CC's voice from outside the door.

I hadn't locked it.

I rushed to it and pressed my back to the wood, tightly holding the handle.

"Please CC, you can come in but don't freak." I told him, my voice cracking as tears fell down my cheeks.

There was a silent pause.

Then the door handle bent downwards.

"Legacy, what's going on? What's wrong?" He asked, sternly.

"Nothing bad... I hope..." I replied.

He kept trying to get in and all i could do was cry.

"Please babe, whatever it is, i won't freak out, i promise." He told me.

I sighed and slowly opened the door.

He looked at my eyes before i looked down. He followed my gaze and i heard him catch his breath.

I searched his head for answers.

'Oh my God... Is this some sort of joke?'

"It's not a joke..." I replied, quietly.

"You're..." He just pointed.

"Yuh..." I replied awkwardly.

"How? And so fast?" He asked.

"How? You. So fast? It's an angel thing. We go through the pregnancy thing a lot faster than humans." I explained.

He never took his eyes off my bump.

He just... Stared...

"Please say something." I whimpered as another tear fell.

He looked at me then.

"Do you want it?" He asked.

I thought about it.

I was marrying this man.

I loved him...

So i nodded.

"Yeah i do." I replied. "What about you?"

He thought for a moment and the next thing i knew, he swept me up into his arms and kissed me passionatley.

"Of course i do." He whispered against my mouth.

I couldn't help but smile.

We were having a baby...

*Two hours later*

I sat on the couch in my normal clothing (The dress) as it was the only thing that fit right now...

CC came out of the kitchen with two glasses of milk and sat down with me.

He handed me a glass and i smiled and thanked him.

I noticed him stare down at my stomach yet again.

"You can stop that any time you like, you know." I chuckled and leant over to kiss his dheek.

CC blushed slightly and reached over me for the tv remote.

We watched tv for a few more hours until we got a knock on the door.

"Shit." I whispered.

"What?" CC asked, raising an eyebrow.

I looked at him.

"The guys are here. Remember? They said they would. And they're gunna see my bump." I pointed to my stomach as CC's eyes widened a little.

"We could always tell them." He shrugged.

I looked away and thought about it for a moment.

"Ok..." I sighed and got up.

"Are you answering the door?" He asked and got up as well just as the door was knocked on again.

"No." I replied. "I'm going to go stand in the kitchen, behind the counter so they can't see my bump until i come out." I explained.

He nodded and walked over to the door as i went into the kitchen with our milk glasses.

There were a mixture of greetings as CC opened the door.

"Where's Legacy?" I heard Jake ask.

"In here!" I called.

"WHERE IS HERE GOD LADY?!" Ashley cried.

I couldn't help but crack up as all my nerves about telling them disintergrated.

"Kitchen dumbass!" I shouted.

There were several more chuckles before footsteps coming towards me.

I quickly situated myself behind the counter and placed the milk glasses on the black marble of the counter top.

The door to the kitchen opened and the guys walked in. But Andy had Juliet too.

"Hey guys." i smiled, hesitantly.

I was greeted back but all i could do was wave.

Ashley spread his arms for a hug and i looked at CC, worriedly.

Ash pouted. "Do i not get love?" He asked.

"Uh..." I started.

"We have something to tell you." CC interupted as i played with my engagement ring.

He walked over to me and wrapped his arm round my waist.

They all looked at us blankly.

"Ok...?" Ashley said, lowering his arms.

I sighed and moved out from CC's grasp and from behind the counter.

"I'm pregnant." I sighed again.

I moved my hands, which i had moved to my stomach and everyone gasped.

I rolled my eyes.

"But... We only saw you two days ago... And you didn't look pregnant then..." Juliet said whilst piecing bits together in her head.

 I sighed and told them about the angel thing.

"So... We're gunna have a bay CC or Legacy. Cute." Ashley shrugged.

Good goin', Ash. Nice way to describe it.

"Yuh..." I replied and looked up at the ceiling.

"How long to go?" Andy asked.

"It's unpredictable. Should be able to determine in a few days though." I replied and shrugged.

They all nodded before small talk had to be diverted to.
