Little bit better

Maggie's pov

I wake up feeling sicker then yesterday.

And I'm freezing cold.

Glenn is up trying to find some kinda medicine but he hasn't found anything yet.

I lay in the bed with covers pulled to my neck.

Rick walks in the room

"Do you think you can walk today? We can stay here if you want." Rick asks me

"Ca- can we stay here? I'm sorry." I say

"Don't be sorry, and yes we can stay here. We need a break anyways." Rick says

I nod and close my eyes

Rick feels my forehead and sighs

"Your temperature has rose a lot, your burning up." He says

"My head is pounding." I tell him

"I'm sorry, I'll go help Glenn find medicine. Drink plenty of water." He says

He walks out the room and goes to help find medicine

I drink a sip of water

Glenn's pov

I need to find medicine

I hate seeing Maggie sick

I hate seeing her in pain

She threw up again this morning and her temperature is rising

I walk back in the room not finding any medicine

"I'm sorry." I whisper to her

"Don't be, please." She says

I sigh

"I've never been this sick in my life." She whispered

I rub her back and kiss her head

"Hopefully you'll be better soon." I say

She nods and goes back to sleep

I get up and go look for more medicine or something that will make her feel better

I search through all the cabinets

Nothing

"Hey Glenn! I found some aspirin and some nausea pills!" Rick yells

"Thank you so much Rick, hopefully it will make her feel a little bit better." I say

I take the medicine to her and she takes 2 of each pill

She gulps down some water and flops on the bed

Maggie's pov

It's been about 30 minutes since i took those pills.

I feel a little bit better now but I'm still feeling awful

Glenn's in the other room talking to the rest of the group

I feel like I'm about to puke again

I run and puke in a bucket in the bathroom

I hear footsteps coming this way

Then I feel Glenn rub my back and pull back my hair

After I'm done, I wipe my mouth and thank him

I flop back on the bed and cover myself up

Carol walks in the room and starts a little conversation with me while Glenn's with Rick

We talk for about an hour or two

Just talking about our lives before the world ended and after.

I've never really talked to carol like this

She's pretty cool

I feel another wave of vomit coming coming over me

I jump up and go to my bucket

When I'm done I don't lay back down

I walk around to see if that will make me feel better

I walk to a room holding on to the walls or a table to keep me from falling

"Maggie?" Glenn says

"Yeah?"I say

"You don't need to be up, your gonna fall." He tells me

"But I feel a little bit better after I puked." I say

"Alright but let me be here in case you do fall." He says

I nod and continue walking

He keeps an arm rapped around my waist

My head starts spinning and I slow down a bit

"You okay?" He whispered

I nod and speed back up

"Ma- maybe we can go look for my dad tomorrow." She whispers with a tear sliding down her cheek

I hug her

"If you feel better." I say

We break the hug and I walk her downstairs carefully and we sit on the couch

Michone is down here now

"Feeling better Maggie?" She asked

" a little bit." I tell her

She nods

It's soon night time and Glenn carrys me back upstairs because I don't have the strength to walk back

We lay on the bed and fall asleep....
