Mike was flown back home that evening and was checked into the local hospital. Both Rebecca and Micky rushed there to see him.

"He's had a very traumatic experience," the doctor warned them. "Mike was one of only five hostages that survived and they tortured him brutally. He has a lot of psychological and physical damage, including malnutrition. It's a miracle he survived this long and he may not make it through the night."

Micky's breath hitched at the doctor's words, but he nodded. Rebecca was the first to go in.

Ten minutes later, she came out in tears.

The doctor sighed and shook his head before looking at Micky. "Would you like to see him?"

"Yes, please."

Micky entered Mike's hospital room.
