"Micky!"

Before Micky could pull the trigger, he heard someone call his name. He looked up and, though he was blinded by tears, he saw Paul running toward him.

"P-Paul?" Micky gasped.

Paul reached him and grabbed the gun out of his hand. He looked angry, but he was crying too. "Christ, Micky! What the hell were you thinking?!"

"I-I—" Micky looked down, "I-It's been six months Paul, I can't h-handle it anymore. He's gone. He's n-not coming back."

"Oh Micky," Paul muttered, wrapping the younger boy in a hug. "Thank God I found you in time."

"In time for what?" Micky sniffled.

"They found him, Micky. They found Mike. And he's alive."
