"Yeah. Same here."

"Hello, are we ready to take an order?" A waitress says.

"Hi, uhm... I'll have a cinnamon latte and a grilled cheese sandwich." Angel says.

"I'll have black coffee and a turkey sandwich." I say.

"Right away." The waitress says and goes away.

She sighs before taking out her phone.

"Is something wrong, Angel?" I ask.

"I...I requested that I pay a kind of tribute to dad today at the concert and I'm waiting for the dean's response." She says.

"Oh. I'm sure he'll agree." I say.

"I don't know, he didn't seem... What's the word?... Compassionate?"

"How so?"

"I don't know... He was-"

She gets interrupted by her phone ringing.

"That's him." She gasps.

"Pick up." I say.

"Hello." She says.

"Hello, Ms. Simms, this is the dean." A man say.

"Oh. Yes, Mr. Banks."

"You may pay tribute during your last performance today at the concert."

"Thank you. Thank you very much, Mr. Banks."

"Make us proud tonight, Ms. Simms."

"I will, Mr. Banks. Again, thank you."

She then hangs up and she has a huge smile on her face.

"He said yes." She says, happily.

"See. Maybe he just doesn't show emotion very well." I say.

"Here you go." The waitress says and sets our orders down.

It's been about two hours and still, the seniors haven't started yet. They just started an intermission then they'll start with the seniors class.

"Psst. Come behind the curtain." I hear Angel's voice as I fill my cup with juice.

She was talking so softly, that only a vampire could hear it. I smile and go behind the curtain, making sure nobody sees me.

"Hey." She says.

She looks so hot in her short dress. She's so beautiful.
