(Angel's POV)

"Damon, can you help?" I ask as I get out of the bathroom to find him buttoning up his shirt.

He looks at me and freezes for a second.

"Like what you see, Salvatore?" I smirk.

I've put on black leggings and the red dress, but, I need to zip it up.

"You look gorgeous." He says, coming closer to me.

"You look amazing. But, lose the buttons." I say, giggling the last part.

"Just for you, baby girl." He says and kisses my forehead.

I couldn't help but smile and kiss his cheek.

"Little more to the left next time, baby." He says as he places his hands on my sides.

"You tease me, I tease you back. Can you help me zip up?" I ask.

He smiles and turns around me.

"Why do you need to zip it if it's covering your back?" He asks.

"That's the design." I say.

He then places a soft kiss on my shoulder and I couldn't help but shudder.

I feel him smirk against my skin as he continues going up with the zipper. He traces my jawline with kisses then finally, his sweet lips meet mine.

I tilt my head to deepen the kiss and so does he. I then pull away slowly.

"Save the energy for the party." I say.

I then start giggling.

"What?" He asks.

"Y-You have lip..." I then calm myself down.

"You have lipstick on your upper lip." I say and start laughing again.

He smiles and wipes it with tissue.

"Well, let's go?" He asks after closing his shirt and putting on the jacket.

"Let me just put on my jacket, shoes, and jewelry." I say.

I put on my shoes and Damon helps me put on the necklace and I put on the earrings and jacket.

"Let's go." I say.

He entwines his arm around mine and we start making our way to the University's ballroom.

It's the thanksgiving dance, although Thanksgiving is still a week away.

"I won't see you tomorrow and after." I say.

"But, it's the weekend."

"Yeah. But, on Monday, you have your final test, and I have my concert. Then, Tuesday we go home."

"I'll miss you so much." He says before pecking my lips.

"I'll miss you more. Plus, we can hangout."

"No. I want you to spend as much time with your daughter as possible. She calls you everyday and you hang up when I enter the room. Don't ignore her for me."

I saw in his eyes a weird emotion. Guilt or regret?

Does he even remember Ellie?

I sigh and plant a soft kiss on his cheek as we enter the car.

"Still, I want to see you in our break." I say.

"Anything for you, Simms." He says.

Just then, Ellie calls me.
