You knew Brienne was upset, but you just couldn't help but tease the warrior. Ever since you'd arrived at Castle Black, one of the men had his eyes on the tall blonde. It made you laugh and you teased Brienne endlessly about it. Podrick joined in, but only when Brienne couldn't hear. He was still a bit nervous around her. You, however, had no qualms about teasing her mercilessly and this morning was no exception.

"I suspect your children will have hair the color of the sun," you quipped from your seat across the table. Brienne shot you a look while Jon and Sansa stifled their giggles. Brienne took a deep breath through her nose, turning her blue eyes away from you. "I think they'll make beautiful babies," you murmured, just loudly enough for her to hear. She stood in frustration, causing the bench to scrap across the floor. She shot you a glare and left the room.

"I think you took it too far, Y/N," Podrick said. You sighed and got up to follow Brienne. You knew Podrick was right. You had a tendency to take jokes too far. You made your way to Brienne's chambers and knocked on the door. "Brienne?" you asked softly. She let out a curt, "Go away," but you didn't listen. You opened the door to find her glaring out the small window. You cautiously approached the woman.

"I came to apologize, Brienne. I realize I took my teasing too far," you said, hoping she would hear the sincerity in your voice. She nodded, but didn't say anything. "Brienne, please say something? Yell at me, anything." She turned to you, her eyes set in a glare. "Will you stop the teasing about the wildling?" You nodded quickly. You really didn't want to be on her bad side. "His name is Tormund, but yes I will. Why do you let my teasing upset you?" You watched as color flooded Brienne's cheeks.

You felt your lips upturn into a mischievous grin. "You like him," you said in a song-song voice. Her face flushed a deeper red. "You do! I knew it!" you cheered, earning another glare. You laughed for a minute and then said, "You should let him know. It is fairly obvious that he feels the same, if the lingering looks and smiles are any indication." She sighed. "I do not have time for this," she said, pushing past you to the door," I have my duty to Lady Sansa." You shook your head sadly and replied, "There's always time for love, Brienne."

The two of you left her chambers to return to Sansa. On the way, you passed Tormund in the courtyard. You got an idea and when you were close enough, you "accidentally" pushed Brienne into the red-headed wildling. You watched as Brienne blushed again. You put your hand over your mouth to stifle your laughter. Brienne rounded on you the instant she regained her footing. You could see the fire in her eyes. "I just remembered, Jon Snow needed me for something," you said, swallowing thickly before taking off.

You managed to duck behind a pillar when you realized Brienne wasn't following you. You poked your head out and saw her standing with Tormund. They were talking quietly and Tormund had a wide smile on his face. "Looks like I was right after all," you muttered to yourself as you turned away and went to find Podrick.
