You let out a deep sigh as you listened to your sister ordering people around. You really had no desire to travel all over the world with the khalasar your sister and her husband were leading. You were not the nomadic type. All you really wanted was a home. You let out another sigh and picked up the book you had been reading before heading to your room. As you walked, you passed by several torches and candles.

You'd always been drawn to fire, as had Daenerys. It probably had something to do with you being a Targaryen. As you passed each torch or candle, you couldn't help but run your hands through the flames. You knew fire couldn't hurt you, but that was something you never shared with anyone. You didn't want them to think you were odd. Unfortunately for you, this time you were being followed.

Jorah had been ordered by Dany to secretly keep an eye on you so that's what he was doing. He'd been following you around all day. He had to hold back a gasp as he watched you running your hand through each and every flame. Nothing happened. Jorah had never seen anything like it and now, he couldn't keep quiet. "Princess?" You jumped and spun to face him. "Ser Jorah! H-have you been following me?" He nodded, not the least bit ashamed.

You crossed you arms over your chest, but before you could scold him, Jorah spoke, "How long have you been able to do that, Princess?" he asked, motioning to the fire. You bit your lip. Your secret was out. "Please don't say anything, Ser Jorah. I know it is not...normal," you pleaded with him. "How long?" he asked again. He wanted to know. He needed to know.

"I've never been burned, Ser. For as long as I can remember, fire had never harmed me," you told him. "Princess, you have a gift. This is a sign that you are meant to rule. To lead these people and perhaps even take the Iron Throne," he told you. You could tell he was excited, but you held your hand up and shook your head. "No. Even if that were true, I would never take that away from my sister. I do not want the throne." Jorah was taken aback by your sudden rejection. "Please, Ser Jorah do not tell anyone what you saw."

Jorahsaw the determination in your violet Targaryen eyes and nodded. You knew SerJorah to be a man of his word, so you relaxed. Jorah watched you in awe as youran your hand through the flames once more before walking away."Princess?" You turned back to him. "You would make a finequeen." He gave you a small bow and walked away, leaving you standing inthe corridor thinking. Did he really think you were meant to be queen simplybecause fire could not hurt you? Did you have it in you to rule? Perhaps oneday, you would find out for yourself.
