TWENTY-THREE.

"Then how?! I gave it to you Cody?!" I exclaimed then kicked the fucking bed in front of me due to my frustration.

I made sure no one could enter Cody's room to interrupt us.

"I don't know, okay?! Iniwan ko yan sa London!" Sigaw niya pabalik saakin, I clenched my fist, I am so fucking mad right now.

I am a vampire and I can sense it if someone is entering and leaving the house so why the hell didn't I sensed anything?!

I sat lumply on his bed, katabi ko si Jenna who is currently, and unimaginably, shaking like mad habang hawak-hawak ang note na pinakita ko sakanilang dalawa.

"It's true, though." Bulong niya. I glared at her, "It's true that we forgot Adam, we forgot our promise to him." Dagdag pa niya.

Natahimik ako at si Cody, "We made a lot of promises and broke them." He said, tumingin siya saamin ni Jenna, "I think we need to tell them." Dagdag pa niya.

"We can't stay here anymore. We'll stop the war ourselves." I said in a frim voice like it's already a fixed decision for the three of us.

"We'll leave them?"

I nodded slowly, "We will. They're still not ready for the war, Jenna." I stated and they both exchanged glances before nodding slowly.

"Akala ko ba ay tutuparin lang natin ang pangako natin kay Adam?" Tanong ni Cody.

"We will. But fulfilling Adam's promise also means stopping the war."

"When will we leave?"

May kumatok sa pinto, Cody opened it, "Guys, someone is here." Sabi ni Night.

My eyebrows knitted, "Who?" I asked him in my annoyed voice.

I don't want being interrupt. At dahil lang sa pagkatok ni Night ay natigil kami sa pag-uusap nila Cody. I want to talk about it more with them!

He shrugged, "Ang sabi niya siya daw si Fourth at may mga kasama pa siya. Natutulog ata si Thean at Van kaya kayo na lang pinuntahan ko. Kilala niyo daw sila."

"Oh, I'll be damned." I muttered when I heard the name Fourth, napatingin ako kay Jenna.

"I'll be damned, too." Sabi niya habang nanlalaki ang mata.

I can't believe Fourth is here. What is he doing here? Don't tell me pinadala din siya ni Mommy dito? Because I swear that's the crappiest idea Mom ever had. Alam niyang may past kami ni Fourth!

Bumaba na si Cody at Jenna after waking Thean and Van up but I chose to enter Ken's room and found him staring at his ceiling. I rolled my eyes, "Are you on a midst of a drama or something?" I asked him as I sat beside him.

Napatingin siya saakin, "Fourth is here." Maikli niyang sabi.

My eyebrows arched, "So?" I asked him.

Tinignan niya ako ng matagal, "So, your childhood crush is here. Oh wait. Hindi ba't nagkaron kayo ng Mutual Understanding dati?" Sabi niya.

I rolled my eyes and lay beside him, he immediately hugged me, my hands automatically touched his hair. I can sense his fear, fear of losing someone, fear of losing me.

"That was like, years ago." I muttered, "You afraid?" Tanong ko.

Hindi siya sumagot then after a minute or so he talked, "What is it to you? You don't even love me." He whispered.

I rolled my eyes, "Do you really think that I don't when I'm here in your bed and hugging you?" I irritatingly asked, tumawa siya as a response.

Bumaba na kami ni Ken, nasa hagdanan pa lang kami ay naririnig ko na ang tawanan sa sala, I rolled my eyes, Lora's laugh was the loudest, and I am sure she's trying to flirt again. It's either she's trying to flirt with Fourth, Third or Second.
