I don't know how long I sat here with Ken. Masakit na din ang batok ko. Researching and typing. Thean let us borrow his laptop and also Van.
"Why do I have this feeling na kesa umunti ay dumadami pa ang isesearch natin?" Ken asked, I smirked, hindi nga pala siya sanay sa research. When we were young, he's always irritated when I'm with Van doing research.
There's so many flesh-eating bitches, baka hindi naman namin magamit talaga ito lahat but for future reference, we should save all of this.
"Ugh. Damn. I'm so tired." Sabi ko and put my head on Ken's shoulder.
"Me too."he said, frowning.
"Bakit ka pa kasi nag-volunteer gawin 'to?" He asked, annoyance was in his voice.
"Now that you said it. I'm starting to regret doing that."
Nagpatuloy ulit kami at noong nasa kalagitnaan kami on researching when Van came bursting into the door as if he solved a really arduous puzzle.
"I think I found a new piece." Sabi niya and then borrowed his laptop. I watched him as he search the accidents that happened in this town.
"Fuck. Bakit ba ngayon ko lang naisip 'to." He muttered as if he's so damn disappointed at himself for not realizing it sooner.
"What is it?" Sabay na tanong namin ni Ken sakanya.
"For the past four years, walang accidents na nangyari but kahit walang nangyayaring accidents or killings, madami naman ang nawawala."
My forehead knotted, "Did you check kung kelan at saan ang huling accident or killing na nangyari dito?" I asked him, thinking that it's somehow connected.
"Yes. And what happened to the girl is kind of, well, strange." Van said.
"Strange? How?"Ken asked.
"The girl was involved in a car accident. She died and after a minute or so, she came back into life." Van said
"Is there any pictures?"
"No, it seems that it was removed. Pero may address dito ang bahay ng mga magulang ng babae."
"Should we...?" Ken hesitatingly asked pero umiling si Van.
"It's too far, kung aalis tayong lahat ngayon, bukas pa tayo babalik dito."
"Who says we all need to leave? I can go there alone." Sabi ko and took the address.
"Alexa, no!" Inis na sabi ni Van, "It's kind of strange is it?"dagdag niya.
"The article here says that after a month, the girl went missing." Ken said, reading the article on Van's laptop.
"See? Van? I need to go in there and investigate. Don't worry, I won't die." I tried convincing him but Van glared at me
"You're still a girl."
The hell? Is he saying that being a girl means being weak? Tuh. Bakit ba ganyan halos lahat ng lalaki, you guys should know that we could protect ourself, too!
"Then, fine! Isasama ko si Thean and Ken, is that alright?" I asked and Van nodded.
"But not right now, pagkatapos na lang ng meeting." Sabi ni Van.
Sabay-sabay kaming lumabas ng room and everyone is already here and it looks like they're all waiting for Van to start the meeting.
The meeting didn't went well because in the middle of the investigation, we found out that Henri the demon and Azrael fought.
