Damn. I don't know how fast we hurtled down when we saw Mandy's picture. We need to contact Van! Or someone! We hopped in the car and I'm still trying to call Van while Ken is trying to call Cody but unfortunately, we got no answer.
"Mandy is the one who eats men." Thean stated while driving so fast.
"I don't think Rebecca Moore is alive, it's someone who possessed her body and use it to kill." Dagdag pa ni Thean.
"Come on, Van, pick up." I muttered but to no avail, no one answered, neither Ken received an answer.
"The evidence and all makes sense, it's the vampire-demon spirit named Empousa" Sabi ko and trying to connect all the infos we've got in my head. "That's why we sense a vampire on that bar, it's her." Dagdag ko.
"Empousa, that spirit bitch who uses his beauty to devour men?" Thean asked and I nodded at him.
"How can you be so sure?" Ken asked, still trying to contact Jenna, Cody or Van. Nagmura siya noong wala pa ding sumagot.
"Do you remember Thean when that old woman told us not to look at it in the eye?" I asked, suddenly realizing everything. Damn it. We are too stupid! Bakit hindi namin kaagad nalaman? Ugh.
"Yes, ano ang kinalaman niya dun?" He asked.
"You see, Empousa used her beauty to devour men and if she cannot devour men by her beauty, she's using the eyes." Sabi ko, explaining everything to Thean and Ken. "That's why the old woman told us that don't look in the eyes, kasi alam niyang vampires tayo and she knew that vampires cannot be seduced by beauty." Dagdag ko pa.
We need to contact Van as soon as possible. They are all in great danger. Especially vampires and demons.
"Ken, ano pa ang naaalala mo sa research natin tungkol sa Empousa?" I asked him.
Kahit hindi mahilig sa research si Ken, kaya niya namang tandaan ang mga bagay na nakita niya lang, that's why he's also useful when we were kids.
Nag-isip siya saglit, "It has a donkey foot." Sabi niya.
Thean laughed, "Sa dinamidami ng interesting facts tungkol sa Empousa, yun lang ang natandaan mo?" Thean asked. Napailing na lang ako.

"Still can't contact them?" Tanong ni Thean and I frowned.
"Yes. And I don't have a good feeling about this." I said as I try to call Van for, like, the 40th time.
Damn it. Bakit ba ayaw niya sagutin? It's impossible that he's sleeping! And why can't Jenna nor Cody answered it either?
"Matagal pa ba tayo?" tanong ko kay Thean, although alam kong beyond na sa speed limit ang pagpapaandar niya.
"Hindi tayo makakadating dun until sunrise." He answered.
Napatingin ako kay Ken na nasa tabi ko at natutulog. Ugh. How can he sleep in a situation like this?! I hate his guts.
"You two are still like lovers." Thean muttered although I heard it clear.
"We are not lovers!" I whispered angrily dahil baka magising si Ken.
"Tell me whatever you like but I still think you are lovers." He said, inirapan ko siya, bahala siya kung ano gusto niyang paniwalaan. Atleast I said the truth.
"Lex, why don't you sleep too? Hindi din naman tayo makakarating kaagad kaya wag mo masyadong istressin ang sarili mo." Ani Thean
"No. Baka pagdating natin dun ay patay na sila!"
