FOURTEEN.
Unlike when we were on the private mansion, we were up early today, maagang nambulabog si Thean and Van shouting at anyone who shows sleepiness or tiredness or anything that Thean thinks laziness.
The moment that I laid my eyes on the couch, I felt irritated and mad. I saw Ken and Lora chatting happily. Tuh. Kaaga-aga pa ay naglalandian kaagad. Hunter nodded at me at tinanguan ko din siya bago umupo sa tabi niya.
"Okay, everyone, we found out something last night." Sabi ni Thean then he started telling them what we saw, that irritated feeling suddenly moved away and replaced by guilt.
I sensed that Cody and Jenna are staring at me with a worried face, hindi ko na lang sila tinignan and focused on every word Thean and Van was saying.
"Diyosa ng kapayapaan?" Azrael asked while frowning, kung hindi lang ako galit sakanya ngayon ay tatawanan ko siya but hell, my pride is greater.
"It's impossible. I can sense a God or Goddess the moment we arrived here pero wala naman akong naramdaman na energy na katulad ng mga Diyos at Diyosa." Azrael added, looking confused.
"Yeah. That's why we think that the townsfolk here killed that child for nothing." Sabi ni Van, he picked up the papers on the shabby center table and try to find something.
"Here it is -- Witches on the ancient times pretends to be a God or Goddess to they could get worshippers that would do anything they want." Sabi ni Van.
My forehead knotted, "Why would a witch want a dead and roasted child?" I asked.
Van shrugged, "Sabi ko sainyo kasi, witch nga iyon." Parinig ni Henri kay Jenna, I saw Jenna rolled her eyes, tuh. If these two ended up together, I swear I won't eat for a month.
"Do you think it really is a witch?" Tanong ni Hunter sa'kin, his forehead were knotted.
"I don't know. It feels a bit strange. Parang may mali." I said and he nodded as an agreement.
Napatingin ako kay Ken because I sensed his freaking eyes glaring at me, inirapan ko siya. Gosh. Siya pa ang may ganang tumingin ng masama when in fact, he is the one who talked to that bitch!
And since we doesn't have enough clues and informations, we decided that we should be familiar with the town kaya ay magiikot-ikot muna kaming lahat.
But hell, this isn't an amusing town to sight-see. So me, Ken, Jenna and Cody ended up in a shabby fast-food chain.
Inirapan ko si Ken when he sat down in the chair infront of me, this stupid arrogant bastard, tuh. Irritating. Mukhang napansin na ni Jenna and Cody ang hindi namin pagpapansinan.
"Parang kahapon lang ay ang sweet niyong dalawa ah, what happened?" Cody asked while laughing, inirapan ko din siya.
"Well, it seems like Vanellope like Hunter" Sabi ni Ken at nakita ko ang pagtingin ng masama niya sa'kin.
Jenna's eyes widened and her jaw dropped, "That freaking Hunter?! I don't like that man for you!" Sabi ni Jenna
My forehead knotted, what's wrong with Hunter? He's a good man and not a flirt unlike Ken! Ugh. Irritating.
Hindi ko sila pinansin. They ordered but I didn't, I wouldn't risk eating again in a place like this. Baka matulad lang ako kay Thean na naidura ang pagkain because of the horrible taste.
Ken ordered for Jenna and Cody kaya tatlo lang kaming natira sa table. I sensed that a sudden changed of expression were changed by Jenna and Cody. Tuh. Alam ko na naman kung bakit.
