Part I.
"Do you think she'll wake up?"
"Van, don't be such an idiot. Of course, she will."
"Yes, your sister is strong, Van."
"Mom, stop crying. She will wake up."
Ugh. What the hell is that noise? My nose scrunched up and I tried opening my eyes but the blinding light flashed right through it so I moaned in pain and closed my eyes eagerly again.
It's too bright!
"Alexander! I saw it! Sweetheart, if you can hear me, move your fingers." I heard Mom said so I did what she said, I moved my fingers and I heard shrieks of laughter and someone screaming in delight.
"I told you she will wake up." That's Thean's voice.
I opened my eyes slowly but it's still too bright so I closed it again. Dahan-dahan ulit at hinayaan kong mag-adjust ang mga mata ko sa nakaka-silaw na ilaw. Nawala ang nakaka-bulag na sinag ng araw at nakita ko silang lahat na naka-tingin sa'kin.
Mom and Dad are at my right side, Thean, Van, Ken, Cody, and Jenna are in my left while the other idiots are in front of me while smiling like, well, a real idiots.
I rolled my eyes at them softly, "Stop smiling like that." I said, no one responded so I stared at them again.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
Lahat sila ay naka-tingin sa'kin na para bang may mali sa mukha ko, nagka-tinginan silang lahat at para bang nag-uusap ang mga mata nila.
"Alexa, your eyes are purple and your hair are white. What the hell happened to you? Hindi ganyan yan kanina!" Cody said unbelievably, my eyebrows knitted and shook my head before looking at myself in the mirror in front.
My jaw almost dropped when I saw that what Cody said is true. My eyes turned into a purple one, just like Madelline's eyes, and my hair... My hair turned white! Like Jack Frost or something. I looked at my Mom.
"Mom, what happened to me?" I asked her and shift my eyes from Mom to Dad.
Umiling si Mommy habang may mga luhang nabagsak sa mga mata niya at mabilisan akong niyakap, "I was so worried, Alexa!" She exclaimed while she cried, I hugged her too, although confused.
Dumapo ang tingin ko sakanilang lahat, may kulang. Wala si Azrael at si Lora. Nasa'n na sila?
"Where's Azrael? Lora? Where are they? I asked them, they all kept quiet.
My lips trembled due to the ideas coming from my head. Azrael can't be dead. He's not, isn't he!
"Where the hell is Azrael and Lora, Van!" I repeated.
Van sighed and looked at me while sadness are all over his eyes, "Lora died, Alexa, while Azrael is in heaven. Ang sabi niya ay magtitipon-tipon ang mga anghel para daw pag-isipan kung pababalikin siya doon." He answered.
"And you let him? What if the other Angels hurt him!" I said hysterically.
"No, Alexa, we didn't of course. Nagising na lang kami na wala siya." Charlie answered.
I sighed in relief, that angel is surely stubborn and stupid! Pinagbawalan na ay sumige pa din! Ugh! Idiot!
I sighed, closed my eyes and massaged my temple. I even saw my white hair in front of my eyes. "Tell me everything." I said and waited for them to tell me everything.
"I didn't know what happened to you, Sweetie. I just saw you floating in the air with lights coming out from your body then you fell. Your pulse was gone that time, we thought you're gonna die." Dad said and glanced at my Mom before touching my hand and my head, "You survived and the moment you woke up, you already have extraordinary powers surpassing the Alpha's powers." He said.
I opened my eyes and stared at my Dad waiting for him to continue. I remember those parts. I remember all of it. What I don't remember is what happened after I killed that fucking Alpha.
"You killed the Alpha and after that, you just fell in the floor. Unconscious." Thean continued.
"You've been out for a week, Alexa. Kaya ay nandito pa din tayo sa Pennsylvania." Sabi naman ni Jenna.
"How did Lora died?" I asked softly, remembering her.
I know that we don't click well but I could say, we've become a team, a united team, for that matter. I am currently feeling sorry, if it weren't for me, she would still be alive.
"We didn't saw how, we just saw her clothes and ashes on it." Joy said sadly, huh, she must be sad. I think Lora and her are bestfriends.
All of us kept quiet. I stared at them one by one.
Night the hunter have cast in his left arm and right foot, his face is full of bruises and cuts while Hunter only has his right arm casted. Nakita ko din ang mga sugat ni Charlie sa tagiliran na panigurado ay gawa ng silver knives. Si Jirve, Henri at Joy naman ay walang bakas na sumabak sila sa isang matinding gyera.
"Did you bury Madelline?" I asked them softly.
Lahat sila ay tumango.
I closed my eyes.
Adam, I didn't saved your sister. I am so sorry.

We all laughed when we saw how Jirve made Night sit inside the van, Night glared at Jirve before punchin him in his arm, "Pucha! Nananadya ka na eh!" Sigaw niya noong nag-sorry ulit si Jirve noong matamaan ang kaliwang kamay ni Night na naka-cast pa din hanggang ngayon.
We just arrived at the Philippines at the moment and we're still here at the airport because all of my groupmates are idiots who are fighting over petty shotgun seats.
"Come on! Gutom na ako!" Inis na sigaw ni Charlie noong nakita niya na nagtatawanan pa din kami.
I rolled my eyes and then entered the shotgun seat they're all fighting for. I saw Van's grimaced face before sitting at the back and then Thean just laughed while sitting down beside me, in the driver's seat.
My parents are already here five days ago to arrange some businesses concerning the all of us. Sa tingin ko ay kailangan niyang pagtakpan sa mga tao kung ano ang nangyari sa mundo kaya nauna sila dito.
Thean started driving towards the private mansion where we live as we all listen to a classical music.
"You call this shit music?" Night hissed.
I rolled my eyes at him, "So what do you like? All those head-banging idiotic blokes? You call that music?" Sagot ko sakanya at nag-bigayan kami ng matatalim na titig sa isa't isa.
"Night, fuck off, baka mabali na lahat ng buto mo sa katawan kapag nakipag-talo ka pa kay Alexa." Natatawa-tawang sabi ni Hunter at inis lang na umirap sa kawalan si Night at natawa na naman kaming lahat.
"Tss. Alexa." Mahinang bulong ni Ken na dinig na dinig ko dahil sa malakas na pandinig ng mga bampira.
"Ken, you're being jealous again for nothing!" I screamed in my mind and I saw him looked at me before glaring at me and then diverted his gaze.
I focused in his mind and read it, "Damn. So beautiful that I can't even get mad for ten seconds!" sabi niya sa utak niya at napa-ngisi naman ako.
It's been a week since the war ended and Azrael isn't still contacting us. I tried reaching him with my mind but to no avail, it seems like my powers' limit is that it can't reach heaven. I prayed every night to Azrael, wishing for him to come back nor just say hello to me and say he's fine.
Because damn!
I am so worried about him!
Malay ko ba kung sinaktan siya noong mga anghel sa langit! He've been casted out and now they want him back?
We paid our respects and goodbyes to Lora's remains and after that, I think our team is finally damn united.
Yes, we act this way but I think there's an unwritten contract between us that says we'll stay as a team no matter what happened.
"Let's pray for Azrael again, later, okay?" Matigas na sabi ni Thean habang naka-tutok ang mga mata sa daan.
Dahan-dahan kaming lahat tumango.
Azrael please, just let me know if you're okay!
