The beeping of the machine continued to decrease, and the teenage girl found herself staring at her fathers chest as it came to a stop. Her heart felt as if it had been ripped out of her chest. She couldn't breathe. Everything was calm and warm; everything was peaceful. Before the heart monitor stopped completely, however, the candle that had been sitting on the bed-side table blew out as a light breeze brushed past it.

"I love you too, dad."

Crystal opened her eyes.

The fluorescent light in the hospital room shone brightly, causing her to blink rapidly and scrunch her eyebrows as she felt a head ache coming on. A groan escaped her lips as she felt a wave of nausea hit her. Her eyes soon adjusted to the light, and she built up the energy to sit up completely in her hospital bed; looking to her left and seeing multiple cards and balloons stacked on a table in the corner. A smile found its way on to her lips as she gazed at them. Crystal frowned, wondering where Scott was. Where Stiles was; and not to forget Allison and--

That's when she suddenly remembered Lydia.

Crystal watched the scene unfold in slow motion, as if time itself had slowed down just to mock her. Crystal watched with wide, terrified eyes as Peter sunk his teeth in to Lydia's side, blood spurting in all directions. A scream tore through Crystal's lips as Lydia collapsed on the floor, eyes half shut as she lay helpless on the floor.

Peter. He bit Lydia.

Lydia was bitten... By Peter.

Where's Peter?

Where's Lydia?

Her head ache intensified as she suddenly got a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something in her gut told her she had to go see Lydia, to see if she was okay.

The brunette unhooked herself from the multiple wires attached to numerous machines, and found herself touching the gauze taped to her neck. She winced at the contact, but couldn't help but wonder what happened to her for her to be here in the first place. The last thing she remembered was going to the hospital to see Lydia, and from that point onwards it's blank.

She yanked the covers off of her, almost tumbling from dizziness as she stood up too fast. Her stomach turned with nausea as she held on to the bed, trying not to be sick. The brunette held her throbbing head in her cold hands and stumbled to the door. Crystal opened the door slowly, thanking the Lord that there was nobody outside of her room. The only thing there was a bouquet of flowers sitting on one of the waiting room chairs. She couldn't help but wonder who's they were.

Her feet moved without her consent, and she found herself wandering the halls of Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital. The linoleum floor felt cold under her bare feet as she slowly walked down hall after hall, not knowing exactly where she was going. All she knew was that she had to find Lydia. Her instincts told her that there was something awful going to happen, that she had to move fast. And she didn't like it.

Suddenly, she found herself standing outside of a room, and her hand moved to open the door and walk inside. The sound of water running was the first thing she heard when stepping in to the room. Not knowing if it was an old man in there or actually her best friend, the girl slowly crept towards the wooden door to which presumably was the bathroom; uneasiness crawling inside of her stomach. Her head throbbed even more as she knocked on the door lightly.
