Magnus's POV

I waited. I had tried the spell and potion on Alec but nothing had happened yet. I put my head in my hands and a tear dripped onto my pants leg turning a little spot of it dark purple compared to the lighter purple they actually are. I heard stirring on the infirmary bed and my head snapped up.


Alec's POV

I was still holding on to life. For Magnus. I had to do it for Magnus. I repeated it like a mantra.
Magnus.

I felt a cold liquid being poured down my throat and Magnus mumbled some words. Hmm. I continued my mantra.
Magnus.

Why am I saying Magnus?
Because I love him an I'm holding on for him.
Magnus.

I felt my stomach churn and I sat up like a switch blade. Gasping I opened my eyes and felt two arms encircle me. They were strong and warm and.... familiar? I looked down and saw a colorful head of hair. Who is this guy and what does he think he's doing? I shoved him off and he flys into the wall. I think the impact knocked him out. He must have hit his head. Oh well. I heard foot steps and Jace and Izzy ran in. They looked shocked. Well I kinda just came back from the dead so yea. They hugged me and looked over at Magnus. wait how did I know his name? Oh well. "What did you do?" Izzy asked. "He was all over me." I stated simply. Plus he was a warlock. Did she really not see the problem? "He's your BOYFRIEND!" Izzy yelled. What?

My boyfriend?

No. I'm straight. Right?
