Meeting the Queen

hiccup and her family have been in the moutain for five days now, the young dragoness tries to have a peaceful stroll through the maze-like tunnels, keyword is tries.

"Hiccuuuuuupppppp~~~~~ say somethinggggg~" the two males whine. yes whine, a Fearsome Shadow-Blender and a considerably large Spinetail are whining, begging her even to speak to them. after the little macho showdown the purple scaled female has been ignoring the boys to the extend that she doesn't even spare them a glance.

although Aron and Toothless can't see it, her eye twitches in annoyance. "Hiccccuuuuuupppppp~~~~" "FOR THE LOVE OF THOR SHUT UP!" She roars enraged. The males flinch back "uhm sorry..." they mutter.

Hiccup huffs, and turns around again. "At least she said something to us" she hears them whisper which makes her roll her eyes, males can be so childish.

She nearly jumps when a unfamiliar Spinetail nearly flies into her. "ACK! Oh my universal dragon! I am so sorry! I'm in a hurry! I need to find Miss Hiccup! The Queen is in need of a word with her"

Behind them Toothless stiffens, what could she possible want with his mate? "Well, my name is Hiccup" Hiccup introduces herself. Immediately the Spinetail starts nudging her towards a tunnel.

"Quick! Quick we have to hurry!" "y-yeah ok" Hiccup stutters, looking back helplessly at the males
Both force a reassuring smile at the small female. As soon as Hiccup leaves their sight they look at eachother with a forlorn look.

"Do you have the same bad feeling as i do?" "If that feeling is that this is bad news then yes... yes i do" they cast one last look at the tunnel before hurrying back to their family.

Hiccup doesn't know where they're going but the further down she follows the Spinetail the warmer the air becomes.

But it isn't the heat that makes her shift uncomfortably in her skin, it's the lingering smell of fear and death that comes crashing over her in waves. The stench nauseates her to no end eventhough she still notices the subtle changes in smell from the spinetail.

"D-don't worry, we're nearly t-there" hiccup hums in response. 'I wouldn't worry if I weren't being suffocated with this smell and your own fear' she thinks. Soon the tunnel fans out into a large, open space. The light of the lava illuminates the cave.

The warm gllw seems to ripple over the dark walls, shadows only adding to the daunting appearance of bot the room.... and it's inhabitant.

A humongous dragon comes up from the gap. Her small eyes cold and evil as she looks down on the young dragons.......the Queen.....

Both the dragons tilt their heads to show their respect towards the large dragon. "YOU'RE LATE" her voice booms through the cave, the Spinetail whimpers.

"I apologise for my retarded behavior my Queen, it was rude and out of line of me to be so late" "IS THAT HER?" "Y-yes my Queen this is The Shadow-blender Hiccup, for which you had s-summoned" "SO YOU ARE THE MATE OF SHADOW-BLENDER TOOTHLESS?" "yes you're majesty" Hiccup answers politely for some reason she isn't fazed by the dominace the Queen emits.

"YOU MUST BREAK YOUR BOND AND LEAVE" Hiccup frowns and she feels her talons dig into the stone under her paws. "That is preposterous! How would you even dare to suggest such a notion! You might be a Queen and figure of authority but you aren't mine" She nearly snarls.

"YOU WILL YIELD TO MY COMMAND!" "You're command is outrageous!" "TOOTHLESS IS MINE, HE CAN'T GIVE YOU WHAT YOU WANT BECAUSE HE BELONGS TO ME!"

Hiccup staggers a bit, "i do not know what you are implying but i will not stand for it! The universal dragons have put Toothless and me together with reason and inexplicable thought. You, eventhough Queen, have no say in the matter"

The unnamed Spinetail watches the event unfold with terror. The young dragoness before him will get killed by the wrath of the Queen for opposing her.

Then the Queen does something no one would expect...........She laughs. An evil cackle travels up her throat, her yellow fangs glint in the rippling light. "TOO BAD I HAVE ALREADY CLAIMED HIM AS MY MATE!" tears burn in Hiccups eyes.

"Your lies are way out of line, now if i may be excused." "EXCUSED?! EXCUSED?! I'LL EXCUSE YOU FROM THE LIVING!" Hiccup's breath hitches, "MISS HICCUP WATCH OUT!" The Spinetail pushes the small female out of the way. He smiles sadly at her one last time before the Queen eats him whole.

her entire body freezes for a milisecond before she uses the speed the Shadow-blenders are infamous for to get out. Tears stream over her scales as her wails echoe through the tunnels and bounces of rocks.

What she saw.... what she heard... isn't something she can forget so easily. And What is Toothless hiding from her?
