Chapter 14

Nina stretched her very numb legs

"Morning" she heard someone say

She turned to see Luke looking at her

"Hey" she smiled and twisted herself to face him

"How long have you been awake?" She asked

Luke shrugged

"Long enough to know that you talk to yourself in the morning" he chuckled causing Nina to punch him

"Sorry sorry" he laughed

"Never again boy!" She yelled and got out of her bed

The last few months have been the same

Missions, briefing, and transferring schools

Nina has made many friends, but she started to talk to this girl. Who reminded her of Chloe

Chloe had been gone many months and Nina was starting to get used to life without her

The girl she met was called Melanie

Dyed hair, very loud personality

Little did she know Nina was part of an agency that went on secret missions every week....

But she wasn't going to ruin her friendship with her, she let that happen before

Nina picked up her phone and dialled Melanie's number

"Hello?" A tired voice answered

"Hey Melanie, sorry if I woke you. I just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out today?" Nina asked

She heard some shuffling

"yeh sure Nina, I'm nearly ready now actually so just message me when you want to go and where" Melanie replied

Nina nodded, forgetting Melanie couldn't see her

"Yeh okay, see you soon" she ended and pocketed her phone

"Luke! I'm going out soon!" She yelled

"Ok" he answered from behind her

"Shit Luke! Don't do that!" Nina gasped as Luke scared the crap out of her

Luke started to laugh and just walked into the shower room

Nina decided to hit the gym for the morning, as she needed to keep in shape

She threw her gym clothes on and headed to the private gym....

"And Mr Mane gave me a detention!" Melanie said with enthusiasm

"Jesus" Nina replied

"I know! And it was just because I walked out to go to the toilet" she sighed

They were now both sat in Starbucks, chatting about school and life

"So, what do you even do when you aren't at school? You don't go to the parties and shit" Melanie questioned

Nina shrugged

"I just chill with my boyfriend and get homework done" she answered

"Oh, Mr Luke" Melanie laughed

Nina nodded and smiled

"Luke sounds like such a babe" she sighed

"I wish I had a man like him" Melanie continued

"Well back off missy! Your man will come" Nina giggled

"I hope so" she laughed

Nina caught a glimpse of people sat at the table behind Melanie...
