All Alone

New Moon : Meet Jake

"This isn't time for games." Insane growled and pulled me behind him.
"Xavier that's your brother?" I asked but he didn't answer.
Jake grinned and winked at me with a sledge hammer across his shoulders.
"Usagi.." Insane whispered.
I peered over his shoulder to let him know he had my attention.
"Jake isn't... Normal. So, stay as far away from him as possible." Insane demanding ordered, and equipped his bat, glaring Jake down like a hawk.
"Oh my, are you threatening me brother?" Jake chuckled and leaped down from atop of a truck that was crashed and on its side.
It was remarkable that he didn't hurt himself.
"Well..." He smirked, dragging his hammer.
"Then I guess we have ourselves a duel."
Insane ran full speed towards Jake, and Jake stood there, waiting for Insane to approach him.
Just as his bat reached 20cm from Jake's nose, Jake swung his hammer to the right, horizontally.
Insane's body instantly took impact, his body flew, and smashed into me.
"Xavier!" I called out before his body tangled on mine, and we both ended up being slammed into a nearby car that seemed like a mile away!
"U-Usagi.." Xavier mumbled, trying his all to get up.
"You've gotta... Get out of here. I'm not strong enough to take him.." Xavier felt his side, and dabbed his finger on the clear hole that revealed his ribs.
"Oh my god! Insane we have to get you to a hospit-" I was so worried about Xavier I hadn't even considered my own health.
I hacked up blood before I could even finish my sentence.
"Shit..." He mumbled under his breath, and looked into my eyes.
"Usagi.. You have to escape! If he gets you..... It's... All .... Over—" insane passed out in my lap, his black hair finally revealed some of his forehead.
I looked at Jake with watery eyes, it was kind of hard to see.
"Well. Now that that's over. What do we do about the little princess here."
"Bastard!" I barked, my tears falling on the apples of my cheeks.
"Ouch! That hurts my feelings!" He sarcastically pouted, then evilly laughed slowly walking towards us.
I wasn't going to leave Insane here to die! Not even if my life was at risk!
"Let's see how powerful you are, Princess." Jake hauled his hammer and ran my way.
I didn't have any weapons, and I didn't have enough strength to do anything to really hurt him.
But u couldn't let Insane die here! I have to do something.... I was just a weak nobody who was bullied in school everyday, I couldn't save our lives even if God helped me!
I could feel myself giving up... But some sort of rage began to fill my thoughts, and my adrenaline.
I stood up, and dusted myself off, cracking every bone that I was able to crack.
"You wanna fuck with me? Then bring it." I hissed, assuming my normal formation.
"Hehh..." He chuckled and we both ran full speed towards each other.
He threw his hammer ahead of time, and it came spiraling at me, but I leaped over it, and kicked Jake right in the face, twice before landing and sweeping my leg under his ankles so we fell.
"Fuck!" He groaned and made sure to kick him in the face so he wouldn't get up. Then I put my foot to his neck, pushing hard enough to cut off his breathing.
"If you ever—ever, try to kill me, or my friends, I will destroy you."
His eyes rolled to the back of his head as he struggled against my foot.
Jake passed out, and I turned around to run for Insane.
"Insane! Please don't die!" I cried, finally feeling a ton of blood pouring out his side.
I had to stop the bleeding somehow!
"D-don't worry Xavier—" I sniffled, somewhat out of breath. "I'll save you."
I ripped another long piece of my shirt off, and wrapped it around his stomach, then tightly knotting it.
I ripped a piece off Jake's shirt as well, and tied it around the other side of the wound so it would stop the bleeding.
"Okay... Now the hard part." uI breathed and pulled one of Xavier's arms over my shoulders.
I was able to get him to his feet, and very slowly walked his body back the the motels.

"Masme!" I bust open the main doors to the checkout, and Alex was standing there with Shino.
"For the love of God!" Shino groaned and crossed her arms.
"Great! Now we have to use half of our fucking aid supplies on some freak show we just met!"
"Shino..." Alex sighed but Shino kept bitching.
"And to top that off, Jake hasn't came back for three hours!"
I gulped a dry throat. As much as I wanted to say 'fuck you' and walk out of here, I couldn't. Insane was going to die!
"Go get her friends." Alex shoo'ed Shino and she rolled her eyes, stomping out of the room.
"I'll help you get him to a flat surface." He walked over to Insane and I, and grabbed his other arm, wrapping it over his shoulder.
"Thank you... You didn't have to do this." I mumbled and Alex only glanced at me before laying Insane down on a table.
"We only need a few things, just to stop the bleeding—" I was about to finish before he chimed me off.
"To your luck we have bandages and plenty of ointment for his wound. We raided a hospitals not too long ago.
I thought about when we were back at the hospital, and we almost died.
"So we're you the one who damaged the place so badly?" I asked.
"Of course not, we had to be as silent as mouse with all those monsters in the main lobby. Hehe, if someone was to make a noise in that hospital you're more than dead." I giggled at his words and he looked at me for a second.
"What's funny?" He smiled and I shook my head.
"Oh nothing..." Alex looked at me as if I was crazy, then walked off to one of the cabinets in the other room.
I looked at Xavier sleeping.
His skin was more pale than it already way, and his hair seemed blacker... Like the sky.
I touched his cheeked with my hand, slowly stroking it.
"don't give up now..." I mumbled.
His eyelashes were the perfect size, and so were his lips.
His skin was cold, but for some reason there was a sort of heat escaping from his chest... It was rather welcoming.
I laid my head on his chest, and listened to his heart. It was beating slow, and I found myself snuggling into him and closing my eyes.
He smelled like a sweaty guy, but for some reason it was attractive.
I've never been this close to a guy before... I've never been hugged by one either, but just doing simply this makes me feel all the love in the world.
"Ehhem." Alex cleared his theoat and my head flung up.
"A-Alex!" I smoothed my hair down and pulled down my shirt, basically fixing things that didn't need to be fixed.
"Hh-hey! Um... The bandages? Yeah the bandages! D-Did you get them?" Alex raises one eyebrow and stood next to the table, turning Xavier to his side.
"Just wait outside until I'm done here. I need some space for this." He told as he noticed how big of a wound he had.
"O-okay... Do you know where Sakura and Masme went?"
"They're in room 101. I'm sorry but there was only two keys to that room and they have both. If you need anything just find room 402. Or simply knock." He smiled and I thanked him before leaving.

I searched for room 101, which is only a little further down. I was worried about what was going to happen when Insane wakes up.
He's probably going to want to leave this place because of his brother.... Who would of thought Xavier Remington had a brother? They don't look alike at all!
And Jake was a cold blooded killer!
I know Xavier is going to want to fight him again, I just know it! It's only like him!
Anyway... I knocked on the door.
At first there was just loud rustling around.
I knocked again.
"C-coming!" Masme answered and recklessly opened the door trying to collect himself.
"H-hey—" he leaned on the door and raised n eyebrow confused yet slightly on edge.
"So what happened? W-where ya' been?"
"Well... I went on a little walk and—"
"A walk?!" Sakura roared from the bathroom.
She stormed in the same room as us trying to button her shirt.
"Do you realize how dark it is outside?"
"Yeah, but I was just getting some air, anyway Insane has a brother named Jake who tried to kill both of us earlier!"
"Wait wait wait.... Jake? Guy with red hair?" Masme described with an attitude.
"Yeah..."
"Yup! That prick stole my soda I bought from the vending machine before Sakura and I got here."
I giggled and looked around the room.
It was messed up like somebody was lazy...
"Where's Insane?" Masme asked.
"Getting fixed up in the checkout office..." I cleared my throat feeling a clump of something thick come up.
"Are you okay?" Sakura asked, noticing me struggle.
My throat was full of some thick liquid and I couldn't breathe! I was suffocating!
"She's choking!" Masme ran behind me and started to aggressively aid me.
"For the love of God!" Sakura scoffed and ran into the bathroom.
When she came out, she jammed a bar of soap down my throat, and I instantly threw everything up.
"Dear god..." She gasped.
I wiped my eyes and looked down at my feet.
Thick, blackish red blood pooled before us.
"Awwwww, gross!" Masme whined and Sakura actually threw up.
"You need to go to the hospital!" She gagged, holding her nose.
My ears starting ringing super loud, and my vision started slowly fading into tiny black crescents.
"Usagi? Usagi!—"
