Jon POV;

The following days were quiet, which I was thankful for. Nicole was still pretty shaken up about Cena bustin' into our house. But today we were back on the road and headed for RAW in Vegas. It was nice when we worked places close to home so we didn't have to shell out money for a hotel. I had woken up before Nicole, but I hadn't gotten up like I usually would've. Ever since that night, Nicole had been having nightmares where she'd wake up trembling and screaming my name. I figured it was best to keep close until she woke up. A hand reached out, gently moving some of her hair from her face. She was peaceful and I allowed myself to zone out, into my own thoughts. "Do you always watch me sleep?" I heard a few minutes later, which earned a smile. "You know damn well I do." Eyes met hazy chocolate as she chuckled softly. "It's okay, when you actually sleep I watch you too." I leaned down to plant a kiss upon her forehead, which caused a smile to appear on her own lips. "I'm nervous about work, Jon.. I don't wanna run into him." I knew who she meant, and frankly I didn't wanna run into him either. I could only hold my temper so long before an implosion happened. "It'll be fine, Princess. Just stay with Brie or one of the other girls. He won't wanna approach you then, work is his everythin'." She sighed, because she knew that better than anyone. "Hey.. Where's my Fearless lady, hm? She's gotta be in there somewhere.." I then lifted the blankets, looking underneath them at her body. I would lift her shirt next, looking there. Her giggles began to fill the room as I released the blankets and began searching through her hair. "Jooooooon, stoooop!" She chuckled out. I couldn't help but to crack a few chuckles myself. I used my palm to move her now messy hair from her face, index finger tucking underneath her chin as I kissed her tenderly. We pulled away after a moment or so, each with a soft smile remaining. "C'mon, we should be getting up and getting to the gym. Workouts can't wait." I threw the covers off of us both as we untangled from one another. "Is this your way of telling me I'm fat?" She inquired, raising a brow. "What? No!" She just chuckled, rising from the mattress and heading towards the bathroom. "What are you waiting for? Showers can't wait y'know." I shook my head, slowly getting up myself and following her lead into the bathroom.

(Later that afternoon, at the arena.)

We'd just arrived at the arena and gone our separate ways. I greeted a few people on my way to drop my bags in the locker room, mostly crew members and other staff. I picked an area, next to Joe as per usual, and began placing my stuff in. "Look who it is! Mr. I'm an engaged man now." I chuckled hearing the voice, it was Randy Orton. We weren't like super close or anything, but we shared a few common interests and chatted every once and awhile. "Yeah, man. Crazy right?" I replied, turning around. "For sure. Never saw you as the type to settle down. Well, pre-Nikki that is." He chuckled, shaking his head a little. "Oh trust me, I never saw it comin' before her. I'd have laughed in anyone's face and cracked some divorce joke." We both laughed. It didn't last long as who else but John Cena walked into the locker room with his bags. I felt my skin getting hot, my temper flaring at the mere sight of him. He was quick, in and out. He definitely seemed more sober at this point. "What happened there?" Randy's voice drew me from my thoughts. "Huh?" I inquired, not entirely sure what he meant. "You looked ready to kill Cena. There something goin' on?" I was surprised he didn't hear about it. "Nothin' man, all is well. For now.." I moved my neck from side to side, trying to relieve the tension that built up there. "Whatever you say man, but listen, congratulations. Tell Nikki I said the same to her." I nodded, bumping fists with the man in front of me. "Thanks man, and will do." We gave each other a nod before I made my way back out into the hallway, phone in hand. I heard a bit of commotion a ways off which peaked my intrigue. Just then, my phone buzzed. It was a text from Joe. Hey man, you'd better get your ass down to catering. ASAP. I had no idea why, but I made a beeline for catering. There had to be an important reason I would care. When I reached the area, I was genuinely surprised. The trainers were there checking on a downed Cena and in the corner was my beautiful fiancée, who was less than calm, being talked to by Mark Corano. I strolled over to them, taking a deep breath inward. "Nikki, you know you can't just attack people. That isn't how the WWE works." Did he just say attack.. "What's going on?" I spoke up, Mark turned to see me and Nicole's eyes landed on me too. "He deserved it!" Nicole burst out, Mark just lowered his head into his hand. He.. Oh no. "Nicole did you do that?" I referenced to the downed douchebag behind me who was moaning and groaning as the trainer checked his head. "He grabbed my arm and tried to kiss me! So I forearmed him and then whacked him over the head with an empty tray.." I had to stifle back a laugh, for this wasn't the time. "Just, don't let it happen again. I know of the events that took place last week at your home. He'll be talked to. I suggest you both steer clear from now on." Corano was visibly frustrated, but I couldn't blame him. "We will." I replied, for the both of us. "Thank you, and congratulations." He said before walking away, and my eyes fell on Nicole. "An empty tray? The forearm wasn't enough?" I asked, wrapping my arms around her petite frame. "It was the heat of the moment. I was about to jump on him when Joe pulled me off.." I chuckled softly, shaking my head as I pulled her into a hug. She just wrapped her toned arms around me and sighed. I couldn't help but laugh internally. Nikki Bella had taken the fight to John Cena, it was just a humorous sentence. But deep down, something told me he wouldn't let this go. That part of me had my grip tighten around Nicole. Who knew where this would end up..
