"How?" they both asked. They were both going to crucify me for keeping their daughter’s secret from me but I didn’t know then who Eric Dalton was. I had a feeling now that he wasn’t a fan of Oliver’s.
"She told me last night there's a guy Dalton he he's a vampire he doesn't like Oliver very much he's biting her it hurts she's in the theatre I have to get to her", I said backing away slowly.
"There's like seven theaters in this town did you say Dalton", Oliver said seriously.
"Yeah you know him", I said looking up.
"He was the one that tried to burn Josie", he said angrily.
"Okay Oliver get the others and check the theaters I'm going with Sam", Josie said panicked.
"Be careful both of you", he said looking at me.
"Sam before we go I want you to promise me something", she asked.
"Sure what?" I asked distractedly.
"If I change do you promise to bring me back no matter what", she asked worried.
"I promise", I said looking her in the eye. We ran out to our car and I gave her directions. We got there and I found Sage lying in the back alley.
"Sage", Josie yelled relieved.
"Mom", she said hugging her.
"Josephine Williams", a voice said. I whipped around and came face to face with who I guessed was Eric Dalton.
"Eric Dalton boy they never told me you were so fat", I laughed.
"Sam right don't worry you'll die to but first where is Tanner", he said walking closer, “I’ve heard a lot about you slut where’s your ex?”
"Which one?" I asked putting my hands behind my back.
"Oliver Tanner", the man said eyes narrowed.
"I don't know why don't you go ask his brother", I said slowly backing up.
"I asked you", he said coming even closer and more men walked out.
"You are such a chicken", I said in disbelief.
"What did you just say?" he said angrily.
"She called you a coward", Sage said glaring at him.
"Both of you shut up Josephine tell me where your boyfriend is", he said fuming.
"I'm not telling you anything until Sage is out of here", she said calmly. Was she really going to trade part of her family for another? I knew Oliver would understand but there were other ways like staking everyone in the alley other than Josie, Sage and I.
"Very well but your little friend here stays", Eric sighed.
"Go Sage run", Josie said.
"But", she said scared.
"Sage RUN", I yelled. She didn't ask questions she just ran like there was no tomorrow.
"Now men grab those two", he ordered. Suddenly someone grabbed me from behind and I turned around snapping their wrist and flipping them onto the floor then kicked the remaining ones out of the way.
"Stop or she dies", Eric said grabbing Josie. I stopped immediately and they grabbed me.
"That's better now since you like to talk you're going to tell me where he is", he said hand wrapped around Josie's neck.
"I don't know", I hissed.
"Wrong answer", he said then suddenly he cut his wrist and I knew what was coming next.
