A/N: This is based off of the movie. I watched it this weekend and I totally forgot how much I loved it! So I thought how much fun it would be to write a series based off of the funny movie and if you haven't watched it, you should. Its hilarious. Beware it is rated R.

Getting called into your boss's office is terrifying. As I made my way over to his office at the top floor of the studio, many horrible scenarios ran through my head. What if I was going to get fired? I haven't done anything for them to even consider firing me. . . well there was that donut incident. .

I came out of my thoughts just as I came up to his door. I was about to knock but the door opened and I was greeted with a smiling face. "Y/n! I'm glad you came. Come in and take a seat!" I followed him in. He sat in his huge, leather seat while I sat opposite of him in a wood, pathetic chair. We sat in silence, staring at one another wit kind smiles.

"Mr. Collins, I'm not getting fired am I? I thought I told you I wrote everyone in the studio a very apologetic note over the donut mishap?" I rambled afraid of losing my perfect job. Mr. Collins simple laughed and waved what I said off. "Y/n, you're not getting fired over the donut situation. I'm promoting you!" My heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. "A-A promotion?" I stammered. "Yes, We're going to make you a co-host along side Mr. Seacrest. Will you accept?" I was still in shock but managed to nod.

"Of course! Thank you so much, Sir!" He smiled. "You are now going to have access to more things than other employees don't. Like premium gym and salon membership." He seemed to be hinting at something. "Do you want me to lose weight and get a makeover?" I asked. Mr.Collins laced his fingers on his desk.

"Legally I can't tell you to do that, but, if I were to ask you to "tone" or "tighten" your muscles then that's legal. And maybe you can just trim your hair and color it up a bit." He took a sip of his coffee. "Y/n, you have the whole package, You're smart and beautiful, everyone is going to love you. Just maybe tone up a bit and try a new hairstyle." I didn't even care what he was saying. Of course I'd hit the gym a few times a week. I was meaning to do that anyways and my hair did need a little TLC. This was the greatest opportunity ever!

I nodded. "Of course! Again, Thank you so much." WIth this new job, I could finally move out of my sister's pool-house and start living my life.

"PETE!" Both my sister, Debbie, and I yelled at her husband. He slipped his headphones off and stared at us with blank expressions. "Y/n got a promotion. Isn't that great?" Debbie asked. "Yeah! That's amazing. Maybe you can start looking for your own place!" Debbie glared at him. "Y/n can stay as long as she needs to, Pete!" Her expression then changed.

"We need to celebrate! Let's go somewhere!" She turned back to Pete. "Can you watch the girls tonight?" He nodded.

"Of course. We'll watch all the Saw movies while you're gone." His voice oozed with sarcasm. Debby didn't detect the sarcasm. "Don't you dare let Sadie and Charlotte watch those movies!" Pete laughed at her and winked playfully at me. "Go have fun. Congratulations, Y/n." He gathered his stuff and left the room.

"We'll leave around 8:30." Debbie said before following Pete out of the room. You could hear her nagging him about appropriate movies.

The line outside the club was ever growing, Debbie and I walked to the front, said Hi to the doorman and we were let in immediately. We found a small table and scoped out the scene. The blaring music made it hard to hear ad talk, Somehow I managed to let Debbie know that I was going to get us drinks. She nodded and continued to sway to the music.

At the bar, the music wasn't that loud but the amount of people who were waiting for the drinks was ridiculous. The bartender was at the other end, entertaining a group of girls with his fancy bottling skills. "What the hell?" I mumbled in disbelief.

"He's been over there for 15 minutes." A guy said looking back at me. His hazel eyes met mine and he cracked a slight smile. "Well, that's rude. I just want something to drink. My sister is actually waiting for me." The guy glanced back at the bartender then back to me. "You want a beer? Watch this." He reached over the counter and grabbed two ice-cold beers.

"Hey!" Finally the bartender gave us attention. I flashed him a 10$ bill and left it on the counter to cover the price.

"Thanks for the beers." I responded with a slight chuckle. He shook his head. "No problem. I'm Shawn." He stuck out his hand. I shook it. "Y/n. . " We exchanged smiles one last time before we said goodbye and went back to his friends and I, to my sister. Apart of me knew that I would see him again before the night ended. And I was perfectly fine with that.
