-Shawn's Pov-
I read the long cast list and immediately found my name. I got the main role! I had to tell Y/n! I turned to go find her but found myself on the floor on top of the person I ran into.
"Ow!" It was a girl. I opened my eyes and saw Y/n. I smiled.
"Hey babe! Oh my gosh! Let me help you up!" I quickly got to my feet and easily picked her up. She giggled and hugged me.
"Hey! So what's up?" I gripped her tight out of excitement and kissed her nose.
"I got the lead male role in the school play!" Her eyes widened.
"That's amazing! I'm so proud of you Shawn!" She hugged me again and stuffed her face into my chest. "Do you want me to come over and help you run lines?" She added.
I smiled and pecked her cheek. "Maybe tomorrow babe! Beth and I already scheduled to do that after school." She nodded and squeezed me before turning to leave for class.
"Alright bye Shawny! I love you!" I told her I loved her too and watched her cute butt wiggle as she walked go her class before going to my class.
-later that day-
I let Beth into my house, the lines were pretty difficult since it was Shakespeare, so I was going to need all the practice I could get. Beth plopped down on the couch rather close to me but I shrugged it off. "So Shawn, have you had a look at page 63 scene 7?" She asked out of the blue.
I shook my head and flipped to the said page and read through the scene. It was a kissing scene....
"I've already talked to Mr.Jacobs and he said the kiss should be at least a couple seconds long." She smirked and scooted closer to me. I nervously looked at her then at the most recent text from Y/n. She was asking about food. I was going to reply but Beth took my phone away and grinned.
"I think we should work on that first." Then she was on my lap with her lips pressed against mine.
-Y/n's Pov-
It was getting pretty late into the evening and Shawn still hasn't replied to my text about food.. I thought maybe they were busy with their lines, so I decided that I would surprise them with dinner! I pulled into Shawn's driveway and carefully pulled the pizzabox from the passenger seat because I was too lazy to walk to the other side.
Carrying the pizza like a deliveryman would, I knocked once and opened the door. "Pizza delivery for-" I stopped when I saw Shawn push Beth off his lap and wipe his lips.
"Y-Y/n.. Its..It's not what it looks like. We were just practicing a stage kiss." He rushed over to me.
"I'm pretty sure the play doesn't have a makeout scene written in it." I whispered as I shoved the pizza in his hands. I walked out the door. Shawn followed me and tried to stop me but I pushed him away and without saying anything else, I got into my car and drove away.
