RIP Jasmine ❤
Shawn was still really upset about his cat Jasmine's death, so I decided to surprise him. . . with a new Kitty! I've been searching for the perfect cat that sorta resembles Jasmine but its been hard. BUT today I got a call from my friend at the pet store saying that someone brought in a litter of kittens and there was one that looked almost like Jasmine.
"Shawn! I'll be right back!" I yelled as I left.
I drove to the pet store and was greeted by my friend. She walked up to me with the kitten against her chest. "He's perfectly healthy and very playful." Just as she handed him to me, he began to play with my fingers.
"Could you help me get some kitty supplies?" I asked.
She nodded and we went through the pet store picking out some stuff. I paid and left, excited to see the look on Shawn's face.
"I'm home!" I called out as I closed the door behind me. Setting the bags filled with cat supplies down, I heard Shawn's footsteps approach me.
"Hey babe. What's all this?" He asked looking straight at the bags then his eyes went to my chest where I was holding the kitten.
"Surprise! I got you a new kitten. It took awhile to find one that sorta looked like Jasmine but I finally found one." I explained handing over the kitty.
Shawn held the small fluffball close to his chest protectively and he smiled softly. He looked so cute in Shawn's big hands.
"Thank you so much babe. This means so much to me." He pecked my lips, "Does he have a name yet?"
I shook my head and let him think for a moment. He then looked up. "His name is Aladdin."
Later that night I was getting ready for bed and when I walked into mine and Shawn's room, he was passed out with Aladdin. I took my phone and tweeted a picture of them. (Media).
