Chapter one

MADISON P.O.V

We'd been driving for about seven thousand years. Or at least that's how it felt. My brother Zach was sitting beside me, going on his phone. We were inside our limo that our parents were so rich to afford one. This driver drove slower than our gramps. Meanwhile, I was listening to my music. Everytime we'd stop at a traffic I'd immditatly wake up. 

I noticed that Zach turned his phone off, perfect timing to talk to him. 

I took my headphones off. "Can this driver go any faster?" I urged. 

Zach shurgged in response. "This is New York Mad's, I think we might be in the car for longer than you think." 

He said have a point. New York is filled with traffic, the annoying sound of people honking there cars and people shouting to hurry up. 

As we got closer and closer to the house, I coud feel that familiar flutter in my chest. We were almost there. I rolled down the window and took it all in.

I then heard a phone ring,and it wasn't mine, I looked at Zach answering his call.

"Hey Mum"

-Pause-

"Yeah were fine, were nearly there" he said.

"Yeah sure," he then handed me then phone.

I took the phone. "Hello," I said.

"Hey sweetheart how are you?" Mum asked.

"I'm good," I lied

"So was the trip good?"

"Yeah me and Zach and Gramps had the best time ever" lie, I said smiling and having a I-had-a-fun-time voice.

I then saw Zach turn to face me.

"That's good, did you and Zach have a brother and sister talk? I know you guys don't speak to each other at school"

-Pause-

I looked at Zach, he was already staring at me.

I looked away.

"Yeah mum, me and Zach talked" lie, the only time we talked was on the plane.

"Oh no, what happened?" mum said in her worried tone.

"Nothing mum, anyway were home so, I'll see later?" I knew that mum and dad wouldn't be able to make it today, there to busy.

"I'm sorry sweet heart but we not going to make it to dinner today" I frowned slightly upset, I then put a smile on my face.

"Okay mum, anyway bye" I sighed,and hung up the phone, and passed it to Zach, putting my headphones back in.

I then looked at the view.

We finally made it home, I took out my luggage out of the car, and took it inside and headed upstairs in my room.

My room was really big I had a walk in closet, and the whole house was a mansion, we also have to share it with the other people, what I mean by that is our next door neighbour has a mansion as well and we have to share our outside gate with them.

And our next door neighbour is the Blacks, which mean Ryder Black the hot, and gorgeous looking guy is my next door neighbour, and his bedroom window is right across mine, I mean he can just walk in to my room but using the tree branches, but no way am I interested in him I'm fulling aware of what he does to girls, first he's being charming and nice and all that then he just get's inside a girls pants and the next day he's on a different girl.

Anyway we haven't talked, even though we've been living here for 5 years, anyway I don't want to talk to him, he's talked to Zach though and Ryder's been in our house but he hasn't seen me, because I'm always upstairs whenever he's here.

I changed into something else than a ripped jeans, I changed into Shorts that was high but not too much, and white top to got with it and my check shirt.

I then headed downstairs hearing alot of noise, not the awkward noise, but that noise sounded like Ryder, but why would he be here I mean he's probably trying to do it with a girl by now.

I'm kind of hungry maybe I should eat, yeah Madison that's a clever idea, maybe I should ask Zach if he wants some as well.

"Zach, do you want some ramen noodle's?!" I shouted since he probably didn't even hear me.

Silence.

I then decided to walk in the living room, finding Ryder on the couch sitting down as if it's house, what the hell is he doing here?!, my eyes widen, he then saw me and kept on staring at me, this was uncomfortable.

I then walked over to Boris, our butler or servant or whatever you call it, Boris looked old but he wasn't that old he was around 50 I think, I'm not sure.

"Boris, what is he doing here?" I whispered so that didn't hear us.

"Oh he came to see Zach."

"Where's Zach?"

"I'm not sure Madison," I nodded and smiled.

And went to the cup broad to look for the ramen noodles.

"You eating ramen noodles?" I heard Boris say.

"Yes I am, I was wondering if Zac wanted it some but he isn't here."

"Let me make it, you make sure that boy doesn't steal anything here or does anything" I nodded, he had a point.

I walked over to the living room.

"Zach's not here if your wondering" I said to Ryder, his brown eyes are so hypnotizing I'm not even joking! 'Snap out of it Maddy!'

He then walked up to me, I started feeling uncomfortable so I moved backwards, making him move forwards again, I looked away I then heard him smirk.

"Madison where are you?!" I heard Zach.

I immediately moved away from Ryder, who was smirking.

'Don't even fall for it Madison!'

"I'm in here!"

I then headed to the kitchen to get my ramen noodles, and looked at Ryder for a second, but he just kept staring at me with no expression, I was slightly feeling uncomfortable, I then walked upstairs to my room.

'Don't even fall for it Madison!' I thought.
