Part 38~One more chance?

Cameron's pov: I didn't mean to call Haley a bitch. It just, sort of happened. She is definitely not a bitch and now I most likely ruined my chances of getting back with her. I'll talk to her another day.

I just walked home. Alone.

Haley's pov: I never understood boys. I don't think I ever will either.

"Can you just drive me home?" I asked her while folding my arms.

"You need to get rid of that attitude first. You let your mind talk instead of your heart." My mom told me while driving back home.

"What are you even talking about?" I asked her, clearly confused.

"You want to be with Cameron but your mind is telling you no. Cameron is making an effort to be in your life. He wants to be a dad. He wants to be your boyfriend."

"Sure he does." I sighed as we parked in the driveway. I reached for the door handle until I heard the doors lock.

"Why can't you see it Haley? So many girls would die to be in your spot right now. You know how many girls would love to have a guy like Cameron. A guy who actually wants to be a dad. Not many guys stay with the girl, but your guy wants to." She told me.

"Then if so many girls want to be with Cameron, they can have him. He isn't my guy anymore." I said while unlocking the doors and walking inside.

"Haley Ann, get back here right now!" My mom yelled while walking inside.

I stopped dead in my tracks. Oh shit. Middle name, not good. I turned around and flashed a nervous smile.

"Yes mom?" I nervously asked as she walked over to me.

"Give Cameron another chance. If things don't work out then you can leave him. Let him know that this is his last chance." She told me while handing my phone. I must have left it in the car. I looked at her and she raised her eyebrows. I groaned and grabbed the phone. I walked upstairs and dialed his number. While waiting for him to pick up, I walked back and fourth while rubbing my stomach.

I cannot believe that I am doing this.

I groaned as it went to his voicemail.

"Hi, this is Cameron and the reason I didn't pick up was because I'm clearly not on my phone which is a shocker because I'm always on my phone but anyways, I'll get back to you as soon as I can." His voicemail said. The beep went off and I started talking.

"Um, hey Cam. I'm just calling to ask if you want to talk about everything. I know I was being a bitch and I know I had a very bad attitude. I'm sorry. Whenever you have time, could you please call me back? Thank you." I said and ended it while setting my phone on my nightstand. I laid down and took a quick little nap.

Cameron's pov: I got out of the shower and dried my hair. I quickly put on boxers and black basketball shorts. I tossed my towel into the hamper and then laid down on my bed. I grabbed my phone and saw that I had a missed call from Haley and a voicemail from her. I clicked the voicemail and listened.

Do I even want to call her back?

I sighed and then dialed her number. It rang a few times before I heard her tired voice say "hello?" She clearly had no idea who she was talking to. She must've  just woke up.

"Uh, hi Haley. Did you just wake up?" I asked her even though I knew the answer.

She yawned and said "oh, yeah. What's up?"

"Well, you wanted to talk." I chuckled.

"Oh, right. Okay so first I'm sorry for having attitude and I'm sorry for being the biggest bitch ever."

"It's fine but it was kind of annoying."

She sighed and said "I know, I know. Second, if you still want to be a dad and a boyfriend the opportunity is still available."

"Really!?" I asked sitting up quickly.

"Yeah, but this is your only chance. Don't make any dumb decisions and choices. If you want to be a dad then you actually have to be a dad. No parties, no drugs, no sex with other girls, no-"

I cut her off and said "who do you think I am Haley?" I laughed and earned a laugh from her too.

"I'll be the greatest dad that ever walked the earth. I promise."

"Okay fine." She sighed and laughed a little.

"I'm going to be a dad?"

"You're going to be a dad." She told me.

I couldn't help but smile so wide. "Thank you Haley. I love you."

"I love you too. I'll talk to you later alright?"

"Okay. Bye beautiful."

"Bye." She laughed a little and then ended the call.

I'm so happy

Okay so I'm very happy that Cam and Haley are back together! I'm also very happy that Haley's mom talked some sense into Haley😂. Do you guys think Cameron will be a good dad? Are you guys happy that Cameron and Haley are back together?
