Emma's pov

Sorry Killy, can't come during the break.

I waited for Killian to reply as I looked up at the teacher, acting as if I was paying attention.

Why? What has come up?

Neal... He wants to talk to me.

Just say no.

I'm afraid that's not gonna work this time. He's acting different...

How different?...

I don't know. He just isn't the shy guy he once was.

I was waiting for Neal, sadly. I wish I could just spend my break with Killian as always.

"Emma!"

I turned around and saw Neal walking up to me from behind.

"You came.."

"Well, You kinda threatened me, so yes... I came, as much as I hate it" I mumbled the last part.

"You wanted to talk?" I said.

"Yes, about what happened at prom."  He stepped closer.

"I forgive you" he said.

"You forgive me?!" I asked shocked.

"You snapped at me for no reason!" He said, stepping even closer.

"No reason?! No reason?!? What the hell is wrong with you?!" I yelled.

"You're asking it wrong.. The question is: what's wrong with you!?"

"Neal, back off!" I said as he stepped even closer.

"Don't tell me what to do!" He grabbed my chin and squezed.

"You're really pretty, you know?" he said while moving his face closer. Our faces were only inches appart.

"Get away from me!" I spatted.

His eyes darkened as he opened his mouth to say something. He smelled like alcohol. That explained a lot.

"Neal, You're drunk!"

"Yeah, so what!?"

I didn't say anything.

He stared at me for a couple seconds. Then he moved even closer and pressed his lips onto mine. I felt like I was about to throw up, the taste of alcohol in mouth was disgusting.

I tried to pull away but he pulled me closer. Finally I was saved by my ringing phone.

Neal pulled away and looked at me.

"There you go. Your biggest wish has come true. You're finally found yourself a boyfriend, you little brat!" he smirked as he walked away.

What the hell just happened?!

I quickly grabbed my phone. I noticed that my hands were shaking as I picked it up. It was Ruby.

"Emma... Something horrible has happened"
