Chapter 26

Emma's pov

It was the next monday.

As I was walking to the bathroom, aka Killian's classroom, I saw Maria hanging a poster on the wall.

"What's this?" I asked smiling.

"Ow, Hi Emma, this is the announcement for the upcoming party" She smirked.

"You should come!"

"I don't know, I already told you, I dont usually like parties.." I said, looking down.

"But this isn't a normal party, its some sort of early prom. We are planning on having a lot of parties this year, and what better way to start off than with a prom, right?"

I smiled, trying to hide my fear of getting asked.

"I'll think about it.." I smiled.

"Please do! It wouldn't be the same without you."

I smiled as I walked away.

I hurried to Killian's classroom, since I only had a couple minutes and I was late already.

When I finally arrived I ran inside and slammed the door closed behind me.

"Very subtle, Swan" Killian chuckled as I walked torwards him.

"Sorry, I was late" I sat down on his lap.

He smirked a little as he gave me a quick kiss.

"Did you see the posters for prom?" I asked.

He looked suprised.

"Isn't prom supposed to be at the end of the schoolyear?"

"Yeah, well, they're doing several."

It was quiet for a second.

"I wish I could take you, Swan, but we both know that's impossible." He finally said.

"Yeah, I know, it's just.. What if someone else asks me?" I asked worried.

"Just say yes, I wouldn't want you to miss something like that. Just have fun." He smiled.

"But what if..."

He cut me off.

"Swan.. I just want you to go, okay. Don't let me hold you back."

I nodded.

"I guess I should go back." I said, while standing up.

"Might be smart.." He stood up aswell and kissed me passionately.

After a could seconds I pulled away and walked out.

"Bye" I said, while closing the door.
