Candice POV~

"Wow!" I breathed out impressed at how well Ivette danced.

I was currently over Emerald's, having my dancing session along with Ivette. She was an amazing dancer and everyone could have easily agreed with me. Her tiny body moved around gracefully and skillfully. Her twirls were perfect and her balance was astounding. She was a natural. I could only imagine how amazing she'd be if she continued to dance.

We practiced some basic moves and I discovered how much of a quick learner she was. So instead of doing basic moves, we began an actual routine. I was still shocked how such a young girl was able to learn so quickly and dance smoothly to a newly established dance routine.

She was a like a beautiful, little, baby doll.

"I'm impressed Ivette! You're an amazing dancer." I gushed with an adoring smile.

She stopped dancing and gave me a huge ear-to-ear smile. She seemed pleased by my sudden compliment.

"You can call me Ivy." She panted.

I chuckled lightly at her exhausted state. We had been dancing for a few hours and I was surprised to find out she could actually dance for that long. She forced herself to dance despite the tiredness and that's what made her learn. Practice makes perfect. And if she kept that type of mentality, it would lead her straight towards success in her future.

"Okay Ivy"– I lifted her in my arms– "I think we've did enough for today. We can practice again tomorrow!"

She giggled in my arms and I gently tickled her belly. She shrieked loudly and I laughed along with her.

This was only our first day and I could already feel myself getting attached to Ivette. She was a beautiful little girl and my love for children was unexplainable. I really wished for a baby, but I knew that wouldn't be possible. Nancy was not mother material and I wasn't mother material either, or at least not when Nancy was around.

I placed Ivette on the floor and she scurried away to catch a maid who would help her with a shower. It was still pretty early to head home, so I turned up the stereo installed in the studio and decided to dance freely. I had been extremely stressed this past week and I needed to relieve it.

I had talked to Nancy earlier and I had begged her not to forget our dinner reservations for tonight. I was hoping she wouldn't let it slip her mind, because I'd hate to go on such important dinner on my own.

I closed my eyes as the melody of the music surrounded me and I instinctively let my body move freely. From twirls to jumps, and pirouettes.

I hadn't danced with such freedom in quite a while and I found myself enjoying every second of it. The soft music engulfing my movements and the loud, busy streets below were a constant reminder of reality. Barely audible despite the blissful moment. Reminding me that even if life could sometimes be unfair, it also possessed these small, tiny, moments where everything felt so right and perfect.

I jumped slightly as I reached my arms out for balance, all the time with closed eyes. I hitched my body to the side before spinning firmly but gracefully. Until my body collided with something. Before I opened my eyes or even moved, a set of arms wrapped themselves around me in a firm embrace.

My breathing hitched in my throat as I felt the person's body heat radiate onto mine. I slowly opened my eyes and came face-to-face with Emerald. Her ocean blue eyes staring at me with such intensity that I couldn't help but squirm under her gaze. I gulped nervously as I tried to pull myself away from her grip.

She didn't release me and I suddenly felt very nervous. What was she doing?

Her body stepped forward and I did my best to take a step back. Which was very near impossible.

"Emerald, wha--"

"I tried my very best." She whispered in my ear.

Before I knew it, my back was slammed against the glass wall and her head was lowering closer to mine in a dangerously slow pace. My heart was pounding erratically against my ribcage and I couldn't help but wonder if Emerald could hear it.

Her face was only but an inch apart from mine and I could feel her warm breath on my face. Her plump, pink and kissable lips looked so damn tempting at the moment. And her constantly biting her lower lip wasn't helping one bit.

"You're so beautiful." She whispered.

Her lips slightly grazing my own while she spoke. I felt as if I was about to burst with all these contained emotions. My chest was rising and falling too fast for comfort. My knees felt as if they were suddenly made out of jelly and my body screamed for Emerald's touch.

This is so wrong, I couldn't help but think.

I had to stop this. I was feeling one too many things for this gorgeous woman and I was already married. To an asshole, but married nonetheless. So I pushed aside the sudden shock I had felt when Emerald pressed herself against me and I tried to recover my voice. My body was screaming for me to shut up and let this moment happen. But I knew better than that. And I knew exactly what to say to get her off me.

"What wou–"

Her lips interrupted me and I was taken aback by the sudden action.

Amazing

That's how her lips felt on mine. She was an amazing kisser and I could only imagine how many women she had kissed. Why was I thinking about this?

My knees felt as if they were about to give in at any moment and my heart felt like it was lodged in my throat. So many emotions were running through me at the moment that I couldn't even think straight.

When Emerald's hands wrapped around my slim waist, I instinctively wrapped my arms around her neck. That's when I reacted. Incorrectly, I must say. Because instead of pushing her away like I should have, I kissed her back.

I tangled my fingers in her hair and pulled her lower towards me. Oh the disadvantages of being short! Her hand gripped the back of my thigh and lifted it to her waist. She pressed her body between my legs and I let out a soft moan.

This was so wrong!
