Chapter 26

"Kuroo, take my stuff after the lesson. I'm not coming back to Math" Kuroo read the text message for the 100th time.

Kuroo sighed.

He knew Bokuto was stressed, but he was too.

Actually, to be honest, he noticed that all of them were stressed.

Daichi seemed the most calm, but Kuroo knew that when Daichi fidgets his fingers - something is wrong.

Tooru was unreachable.

Three of them were a bit scared for Tooru. He did call them on christmas, but that was all. Since then they haven't heard from him.

But since Tooru has done this before they just leave him be.

Kuroo wasn't exactly happy too. And there was a reason for that.

Someone new burst into Kenma's and Kuroo's realtionship.

And that was Kenma's father.

~~ a couple of days ago~~

"Mom! Me and Kenma are going out tonight so we will be back home late" Kuroo said as he walked into the kitchen.

"Just don't do it in public, young man. Although, you can grab that ass if ya' want"

"MOM!" Kuroo blushed and sat down.

Kenma was in the shower and even though he invited Kuroo to join him, Kuroo had to refuse. His mom was home and, well, Kenma is pretty loud.

Kuroo asked Kenma if he wants to go on a date, of course Kenma agreed!

He was happy now. He didn't have to worry about his mother anymore, he became a part of Kuroo's family. Every night Kuroo would cuddle with him and whisper sweet words into his ear. Truly, his opinion of Kuroo changed drastically since they first met.

At first, Kenma did find him attractive and funny, but he never really thought that Kuroo would be so passionate.

He stepped out of the shower, putting on new clothes that he and Kuroo bought together. He loved it. He loved Kuroo's style.

And the fact that they are going on a date made him a bit nervous. It was his first date ever! Kuroo had gone out on dates before, but Kenma..

Actually now that Kenma thinks about it, Kuroo never talked about his ex-girlfriend. And Kenma was quite interested in the relationship that they had.

Kuroo had picked out dark blue skinny jeans and a white sweater with the word "Mine" on it for Kenma.

As he walked downstairs he was met by Kuroo, waiting for him.

While Kenma's sweater said "Mine", Kuroo's said "Yours".

Kenma found that cute. He always thought that Kuroo would be the one to say "You are mine", but instead he would say "I am yours".

He waved Kuroo's mom goodbye and they both left the apartment.

Kenma had no idea where they were going, but Kuroo had everything planned.

First, he was going to take Kenma to see a movie, then to the ultimate Anime, Manga and Games store and then for food in a fancy italian restaurant.

He let Kenma decide on the movie and they both went to see some cheesy romantic comedy.

The movie was great and they both laughed a lot. Of course, Kuroo pulled the ultimate yawning-stretching-hand-around-your-shoulders move, which made Kenma blush.

About in the middle of the movie Kuroo actually kissed Kenma to gain his attention, they were lucky to be sitting in the last row, so they could make out in peace.

After the movie, as planned, Kuroo took Kenma to the store. You should have seen the sparkles in his eyes when Kuroo said "choose whatever you want, I will buy it for you".

They spent a lot of time in that store, the outside got dark and people were heading home from work.

Kenma knew he can't just buy a lot, after all, Kuroo is spending his money on him. So he chose a game that he wanted for a long time.

Kuroo encouraged him to choose more, saying:
"Kenma, it's my treat. I will buy you anything, so go and pick something more"

Kenma went to the manga section and discovered a new type of manga.

Doujinshi.

He looked at all the ErenxLevi dj's, KnB dj's, he didn't know what to choose until he found a Free dj that had his favorite pairing (SouMako). He picked 9 dj's and handed them to Kuroo. He saw Kuroo smirk and giggle.

Kuroo himself bought a new volume of Makai Ouji and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, along with DMmd game.

After this shopping spree all that was left - was the restaurant.

Kenma was hungry for two things.

First, he wanted food. Second, he was hungry for Kuroo.

But food comes first.

They walked into the restaurant, nice music was playing and it was filled with amazing Italian aroma.

Kuroo had booked a table and they were soon led to it by a waiter.

They sat down and looked at eachother. Kenma couldn't hold back a smile.

His first date with Kuroo was going so well.

After they ordered food, they started talking about a lot of things. Kenma told stories about himself from middle school, earning one of his favorite sounds - Kuroo's laugh. (not the canon derp one though)

They ate, they had a good time and it was time to head home.

Kuroo took Kenma's hand and they both walked peacefully until they heard someone shouting.

"WAIT UP!" they turned around and saw a middle aged man, he had dark brown hair and eyes similar to those of a cat.

"Are you Kozume Kenma?" the man asked, pointing at Kenma.

"Y-yeah..." Kenma said as he took one step back and squeezed Kuroo's hand.

"K-Kenma.. It's me, your father"

It seemed surreal, but the man showed his ID, proving what he said.

After all these years, his father appeared in front of him.

Still causious, Kuroo and Kenma listened to the man and his story.

He told them the truth behind him leaving, he said that he couldn't put up with his ex-wife anymore.

He said he regretted leaving Kenma behind.

But Kuroo had a bad feeling.

".. Now that I found you, I want you to live with me in Fukuoka"

Since that day Kuroo has been stressed, even though Kenma assured him that he won't go anywhere, a feeling inside of him was telling him that something bad is about to happen.
