...

I pushed open the door of Room 28.

It was like in kindergarten, when the teacher would hold up a sign that would say, "All Eyes on Me."

Except I was the teacher. Because all eyes were on me.

And it was really starting to piss me off.

I turned my head and looked behind me. "I'm sorry, are you guys lost? Is there something behind me that I should be looking at too?"

Silence. They were scared straight. I put them in there place.

"Maya Hart?"

"Yes," I said turning to the teacher, "No. NO. NOO. Not you! Not again!"

"Hi!" Mr. Matthew's said, his teeth grinning wide.

"Let me guess, homeroom and history."

"You know it" he replied.

I sat in the back of the class with a bunch of lame-os. Also, Jake Holster was there.

"You know him?" he asked.

"Yea, he's my best friend's father and my middle school teacher." I said.

"Wow, now I know where you get the smarts. Maybe if you give me a kiss, I'll get the smarts too?"

I blushed. "You are a MAJOR player."

He laughed. "Why, thank you!"

Mr. Matthew's stared wide-eyed at me. He mouthed a word.

"NO." he said.

Suddenly he was charging towards me.

He then pushed my desk to the waaayy back of the class. I felt my chair hit the wall. I was also now far away from Jake Holster.

"Well, Matthews, you never cease to embarrass me" I said, a fake, sarcastic, Stiles (lol comment if you get it) type of smile.

"Turn to page 167. We will be learning about Belgium 1831."

Oh, how Farkle will love this lesson.

But I still couldn't get what Jake said out of my head.

" Maybe if you give me a kiss, I'll get the smarts too?"

Does that mean he wanted to kiss me? Or was it just a joke?

But more importantly, do I have feelings for Jake Holster, the major player?

Excuse me while i go kill myself.

Np, jk, jk. But I seriously do not want to do this test.

But of course, in my school, there's no opting out.

Great. Just great.

Love you,

Emma
