Alone in study! =Fanfic time!

Calum's P.O.V:

Emotions are like people.
They come they go,they attack us until we cry,smile or laugh.
We have no control over them,we can try but they have a mind of their own.
Their all different with there strengths and weaknesses.
A lot of my days sadness is stronger than my happiness and my imagination is stronger than reality.
My friends stronger than myself.

I'm lost in a world of rainbows and butterflies. I'm not made for unicorns prancing cotton candy fields.
I'm made for a world of pure darkness crushed dreams and loneliness.
It's what I experience on a day to day basis, regardless of my surroundings.

I'm a mess, and everyone knows it.

"Hey Calum"
"Hi Michael..." I smiled lightly looking up as he sat beside me in the buzzing lunch room (cafeteria).
"Where's Luke?" He asked I shrugged,not knowing I hadn't seen him since assembly this morning, which is usual on a Friday.

"Hey guys!" Ashton chirped sitting along side Michael, he reached for the salt in the table brushing off Michael hand. He pulled away quickly.

Michael blushed taking his hand from the table placing it on his lap.
I raised an eyebrow.

"Where's Luke?" Ashton asked ignoring the fact that both of them were bright red in the face.
I shrugged "I dno"

About 15 minutes till the end of lunch and 300 texts later Luke arrived tired and drained.

"Hi guys" he said sitting down along side me.
"Hey mate where've you been?"
"Library"
"Why?"
"Studying"
"Studying?" Michael questioned.
"Yeh I never studied for Biology,this test is 50% of our final grade"
"Yeh mate I know that's why I studied last night not 20 minutes before it!"
Ashton snickered.

Luke tensed beside me.
"You okay?" I whispered.
"Eh um....yeh...." He whispers back picking up a slice of pizza from his plate.
"Your not"
"I'm fine Cal"
"We've been friend for 4 years I can tell there's something up"
"Nothing drop it Calum" I decide to step down picking up my phone scrolling through tumblr.

"Mike?"
"Luke?"
"Can I talk to you for a second?"
"Sure" they both stood up and headed into the hall.
"What was that about?" I asked quietly to Ashton.
"I'm not to sure.....Don't worry about it Cal I'm sure everything's fine!" He smiled reassuringly.
I smiled back not really believing him..

Luke's like a bubbly ray of sunshine never down or upset,It takes a lot to make him feel down.

It must of been someone or something really bad to make him feel that way.....

I'm sorry Luke.
